Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Wife & I stopped in on our return trip home from Sioux Falls SD. We were surprised that it wasn't crowded because of it being 5:30 pm on a week day. The only disappointment was that we didn't get the senior citizens discount on our meal like we receive from the Watertown SD location. In order to get that discount we had to order from the senior menu

Wonderful places to eat meals. Very delicious food and friendly staff and good services. Highly recommended! Specially for breakfasts!

The service was excellent they helped us right away even though it wasn't all that busy. So we were able to be seated right away & get our drinks & food was out really fast to us which is great! Also, we were able to sit for a while after our meal to have a conversation without being interrupted! I would definitely come here again soon!! 👍🙂

I have a gluten allergy. My server Alyson was very educated and made me feel very safe eating here.

Both hubbie and I got lunch trios with soup, half sandwich and pie. 😀 everything was yummy.

Exceptional service and great food prep and presentation! We were very surprised at the quick service time, not waiting and food arrived quickly. Place was very clean, great lighting and server attentiveness was awesome. We had very poor and bad experience with the location in Bismarck and we swore never to go there again but we were late to dinner and most places had closed so we decided to try the Perkins here in Brookings and were not disappointed. Thank you all for a great evening!!

So, the visit always varies. Most of the time, the food is excellent. It also depends on what time of day you go, because there were a few times that it was mediocre at best. But I will always continue going back!

Love going here for breakfast. It's one of the best Perkins restaurants I've been to.

Stopped here a late breakfast with large group of family on the Friday of college move in day. There were 9 of us and our waitress did a wonderful job. She was very attentive, our food was great. This place was very busy but they did a wonderful job.

Daniel at the front did fantastic talking to my friends kid.
We walked in and he answered her questions without complaint and bent down to be on her level. He is a fantastic employee.

Only 4 stars for service which might not be totally fair as they were rather short staffed. But the food was very good and fairly priced.

Great food, clean and pleasant dining areas, good prices. Very nice and efficient waiters and waitresses.
Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking spaces and well lit. The grilled hibachi shrimp is excellent. ( lots of shrimp, broccoli, peppers,onions and rice.) Desserts are so good.

Awesome food always atmosphere is very good, service is excellent.

Stopped on our way through and I had the waitress note a dairy allergy. Our food came fast even though the restaurant was packed and the cooks made sure to make my order on a completely seperate grill as to not cross contaminate. Very impressed with the staff that day!!

We stopped in after a Jack's football game. Service was fast, and the food is what we have come to expect, great.

It was a bummer that they didn't have any chocolate silk pie, but I didn't take a star for it.

A safe choice for any meal, or something quick after the game.

Brookings, SD food much better than Fargo,ND location. Thought we'd give another try on our trip. Several years ago had a good experience at one in Grand Forks, ND excellent breakfast. This year however in Fargo it was awful. Eggs Benedict had burnt bacon and spoiled avocado on it, husband's chicken fried steak was definitely a frozen one not freshly breaded. And took forever to receive food and not even that busy. Brookings, SD visit was wonderful, smiles on every employee and tasty food. One little misunderstanding on order and our waitress fixed it right away. It was a long trip from Texas forgot her name but she was originally from St.Louis, Missouri she said, Beautiful person wonderful waitress...
