Mad Mary's Steak House

Very welcoming small-town steakhouse! We had the portobello mushrooms as an appetizer, and they were fantastic! For dinners, the special ribeye marinated in bourbon and brown sugar and a prime rib. Both were great, though mine came out more medium than medium rare as I requested, but still delicious! We had the chicken and wild rice soup, which was amazing and so were the garlic mashed potatoes. Great service as well. Would definitely return when in the area again.

The prime rib is absolutely to die for. It’s the only thing I order, every time! Sadly, the last two times they had forgotten to add my onions and mushrooms to my prime rib. One time I ordered to go (18 miles away) and didn’t realize until we got home. I contacted them and they were super accommodating and refunded me as well as added our gas for the trip! The second time we were dining in and they brought them out once we noticed and asked. always add the mushrooms and onions!! Prices are right, food is fantastic. Best prime around.

Sirloin and ribeye were great. Cooked to exactly what we ordered. Everything was great. Ordered a side of ribs and they were falling off the bone delicious.

We stopped in for drinks and the place was very clean and everyone was very nice. The menu looked like it had a lot of good options. I'll update after we have dinner there some time.

Top notch dining experience. The local beer was good and refreshing, the food was great and plentiful while the services was just as great. We will definitely be stopping in again sometime.

Truly a real steakhouse, where the steak is the focal point. My BIL had the prime rib and said it was the best prime rib he has ever eaten! I concur!

An OUTSTANDING find in a small town! From the minute we entered we were treated to excellent service and BEAUTIFUL river views! We went several times while we were in town and every meal was AMAZING! Nice selection of beer including some craft choices. Treat yourself and head to MAD MARY'S you'll be so glad you did!

The place to go for great prime rib! Wait staff are always fun, friendly, efficient, and attentive. Menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable. The only thing I don't care for is soda refills aren't free as in most restaurants. I could see it if I was sitting at the bar but we were there for supper.

Never disappointed when I go to Mad Mary's! My steak is always done to perfection! The sides are amazing! Always have amazing soups! The wait staff is always kind and welcoming! The owners are amazing people!

Steak was prepared perfectly. Waitress was attentive. My second time here and will definitely be back.

16oz prime rib... like no other I have ever had! Awesome.

I was there on Mother's Day and we had to wait awhile cause it was so busy. We waited in the bar side amd they had a chocolate fountain with fruit and cheese which was awesome! So we had a drink and helped ourselves to the chocolate fountain for an appetizer while we waited. It really helped pass the time. It was worth the wait.The food was delicious! And the service was great. Worth going there again. Thanks Mad Mary's for a wonderful Mother's Day meal.

Wonderful experience. The view while eating with my loved one made our evening perfect. I suggest eating on the deck outside and taking in the beautiful South Dakota scenery. Our food was melt-in-your-mouth good! The soup was homemade, drinks were perfect! Refreshing eating at such a relaxed, " home feel" restaurant, and the staff was all so friendly. Our server Karla was on top of her game! I'll be back for sure!

Hard workers, great staff, and delicious food! Always checking on you making sure the food is to your liking. Never leave unsatisfied. Great place to eat, to stay or to go!

You can never EVER go wrong at Mad Mary's. It's about halfway for my family and me, so we meet here fairly often. I seriously dream about the filet. Service is always super friendly, and the food has yet to disappoint. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious! We did have a wait from ordering to when we got our food, but the had a big party come in right before us, so I assume that was the delay.
