This was my first time here and it was a great experience. The food was great and the service was better than 5 stars(5 is the most I can grade). I work in customer service and the staff here was awesome. The atmosphere was laid back and just nice. I would definitely come back and I recommend the patty melt and the fried mushrooms and onion rings.

You had me at sweet potato fries! The bacon & guac burger was really tasty. It may have been a tad bit overcooked but still giving a 5 star! Clean place, friendly staff although not really one to check on the customer after food delivery. Anyhow, I’ll be returning!

Had the chicken fried steak; it was served hot within 10 minutes of arrival. It was tasty, the place is clean with a nice temperature setting, probably low 70s. The plate was the special; payed about 14 before tip.

The service and food was Excellent!

Road trip and we were looking for a food break. Saw good reviews so we went for it-glad we did! A little off the main highway but easy to find and get back on highway. Hubby enjoyed the daily special -chick-fried steak and my burger, well, didn’t remember to take pic til nearly gone! Yum!!!
If ever in this neck of the woods, head to this place, you won’t regret!

I picked up my food inside to see where i’m ordering from. Place was clean and staff was very friendly. Ok now the best part… My food was delicious and will definitely come back to dine in. I looked at other’s plates and no one looked like they were sharing. Food looks as good as it tasted.

You can hear the bald eagles screech! This place is 100% American! Very nice staff, great food! Lovely ambient. Yes tgey have beer!

Still sitting here to write this. Burger was awesome, service was better. Wasn't expecting it in a small town, but that's why small towns are the best! Will definitely pass back through some day.

Visited today for the first time and wow great mellow atmosphere service was awsome the ribye is the best i have found in a long time certainly best in town and the grilled shrimp better than red lobster just awsome will make this a regular place from now on

I got the bacon avocado burger, and my friend got the mushroom swiss burger. My first time here, and I have to say the food was great!! Best burger I've had in a good, long while!! Will most definitely be going back!! Great service all around!!

Very fresh & tasty! We had fried mushrooms, chicken fried steak & fish basket with side salad. Great little place!

Lunch time and it looked busy but we hadn't been here in a while. Service was fantastic, burgers were delicious, I can't say enough except add egg to your burger. You're welcome.

Had a chicken fried steak that was deliciously cooked. The batter was light and it had good flavor. The gravy was also delicious. My compliments to the chef. Wait staff was friendly attentive, and followed. Request well. Will definitely return and take some of their other menu items.

The wife and I like it good food drove from San Antonio to try next time we'll ride out there

I had the grilled shrimp on a bed of rice with the mixed vegetables, and it was so good we'll be going back.

We went to Pleasanton for a fundraiser (super crowded-food sold-out!) and we were looking for good food - not a chain! Read the reviews and decided to try this place out! What a GREAT find!! FRESH, homemade, GOOD food and the staff was sooo friendly!! We pulled up to an almost empty parking lot and was wondering, did we make a good decision? Within minutes, people started to come in - lots of people! Will come back for sure when we are in the area!!

Best home cooked food on Oaklawn! Love it

Ordered fried catfish basket but they were out of catfish, so they substituted it with fried tilapia. It was very good. I will be going back for fried catfish and to try other things on they're menu.
