Peggy's Country Cafe

First time here and didn't disappoint. We had breakfast and they made their food to perfection! The biscuits and gravy were delicious too!Friendly staff, great food, and good price! I will definitely be back!

I normally do breakfast here, but today I had lunch so I tried the cheese burger with fries it was very good.I highly recommend Peggy's country cafe.

My first time at Peggy's and the experience was great. I walked in and you can tell it's family oriented. They welcome me right on in. Come and feel like one of the family.

We were looking for some comfort food with a cozy atmosphere and we found it! We are now looking forward to Sundays so we can find ourselves back in Peggy’s booths. Peggy herself was very sweet and warm which was the cherry on top!

Extra clean and updated interior. The meal was fantastic! Fresh veggies and a great portion of meats.

They have gone non-smoking which makes the experience much more pleasant! Food and service were exceptional!!

Great news close bye home. Perfectly prepared breakfast especially butter toast and western omlett . Greeted bye owner and waitress pleasant atmosphere and smiles. Looking forward to eating hear again days to come

I walked in here having no idea what to expect - I just decided to give them a try because their review pics on here looked good! So, let me say this... This is definitely not the first place I would choose to go sit down and eat as a young woman of color. They cater to a much older, more conservative crowd to say the least. I was a little uncomfortable when I first walked in. The “Country” in the name of this restaurant is there for a reason. However, my waitress (and everybody else) was extremely nice and welcoming. They seemed to be having a great time with their karaoke night and even invited me to sing! The food... 10/10. I was very impressed by their food. I had some of their awesome breakfast (btw, they serve it all day!). It tastes like your mama made it. I can only assume that their non-breakfast food would be just as good. Great presentation. Try this place out! I’m definitely looking forward to trying more of their food when I’m in the area but will probably order to-go next time 😅🤣

I came all the way from Highland Village, and passed by this gem by accident.

The owners were delightful, and I am happy that I stopped by, even when they were closed.

The owner was very genuine, generous and sincere.

I am counting the days until Tuesday to when I can drive a 100 mile round trip to experience this golden home cooking!

This place is so adorable. Peggy is the Owner/Operator of this establishment. She will be your waitress. She's such a sweetheart. And the food is like going to a countryside cafe. Which quite frankly is what it is. Home cooked meals literally cooked up and made from scratch. And desert is fresh pies. Fresh made Sweet Tea as well. Ultimately Peggy's is 100% for me.

Googled chicken fried steak near me and Peggy's popped up. Saw all the cars in the parking lot and knew we it would be good but never expected old school country music karaoke.
Great service, good food, and terrific pie. Definitely going for Friday evening catfish soon.

The True Texas country experience. Small town feel with great food and great service. Nothing but good vibes with regulars telling funny stories and jokes from across the restaurant to each other. Mrs. Peggy was an absolute delight. Our steak was cooked to perfection, and the chicken fried chicken was exactly what I hoped it would be. We will be back if we're in the area again.

TEN STARS! Our first time here was an AMAZING experience!! The food was so incredible and the owner and her daughter talked to us for awhile and they were great! Be sure to get the coffee and pancakes when you come because they are very tasty!!! ♥♥♥
