Rickel Park

A clean and nice park. There's nice playground for kiddos, and plenty of paved walking paths. If you're taking a walk around this park, you can either take the easy leveled paths or the more hilly paths. There's a nice outlook on the top of the hill, which is a great sunset-viewing spot.

One of my favorite spots to hike, take photos, and practice my tai-chi. It is quite a grand scale place, with lots of paved trails to hike. The benches are located in shady and cozy settings, and the stream of water by the bridge is nice to view in all seasons. Don’t be afraid to explore each trail as they are all stretched in circular motions and meant to always bring you back home.

We have been to this park far more than all others combined. Enjoy the walking trails, the natural woodland growth, the big play area for the kids, and the wildflowers in Spring. Beautiful place.

This is an awesome Park be prepared to walk up a lot of hills and if you're think you're in good shape try to run them because they're pretty tough pretty steep there's a playground there there's a creek that goes through the place there's a place there that kind of resembles the Grand canyon a little bit but it's not real big it's just a small area but it's a great Park to go walking in

I love this park. Challenging trails and hills. Nature at it's best, in the middle of the city. Large playground. No bathroom.

Excellent walking trails! They're all cement and in VERY good condition. There's lots of shade through the trees. There are some pretty steep hills mixed in. There's a playground but I didn't visit it.

I like this park because it offers paved, short yet steep (or flat) options in paths.

Great park that's very shaded. A perfect place to walk your dog or just take a nice shaded walk. Very recommended.

The hills are steep, which makes for a great place to train. I really like this park. If you are lucky, you will see a bobcat.

This park is excellent and includes showing how Texas can have some cool rocky terrain amidst the mostly flat fields 😂

Best Park in Hurst. The sidewalk that goes all the way up, the lookout, great place for anything really, cookout, walking, nature, only thing I would change is the playground needs to be updated. Great overall experience everytime. Grills in the woods are really nice if you want to carry all your food up to top, great views over park as well

Me and my dog go for a walk in the park every morning. Very clean park with a walking trail surrounded by nature. Small park for kids. Twice around the outside trail is a little over a mile. Shaded by trees makes this a perfect place for walking or running. Quiet and never over crowded. Love it.

This park has a nice walking loop around it. There's a pretty, surprising canyon and a couple of bridges over the creek. There are also trails that go up into the hills so you can climb a little bit and get a view over the rest of the park. We've been fortunate enough to see a bobcat at the park along with a couple of foxes. There's also a playground for the kids to play on and a couple of picnic pavilions that can be reserved through the city of Hurst. It's a great little oasis right in the middle of Hurst.

Nice trails throughout the park. Lots of hills. Creeks throughout the area. Nice location for photo ops. We made a music video in the early morning. Really well kept for children. Great play area.
