Buda Soda Fountain

LOCAL LOVE:
One of my favorite places for a quick but homemade lunch is @budasodafountain which is conveniently located right by our Buda Office and right off Main St.
With a menu of a variety of homemade sandwiches, quiche, soup and coffees, it’s a quaint old fashioned soda shop featuring old fashioned candy, gluten free treats and ice cream and floats.
It’s also next door to my kids doctor and an ice cream bribe has been working for 19 years with them!
My favorite is their cup of soup and half a sandwich combo or their quiche. The staff is so friendly and the service is amazing!! Stop by and say hi!! #supportlocal #locallove #shopmall #shoplocal

Great food, a gluten-free paradise! I had the chicken rosemary and rice soup and a chicken cranberry sandwich. A Carmel cake slice and raspberry lemonade for dessert.... wonderful!

It was like stepping back to a simpler time. The service was excellent, and so was the Creamsicle shake. They have numerous Gluten-free pastry options, as well as Gluten-free bread for their sandwiches. It is connected to a pharmacy, giving you more shopping choices. I highly recommend this soda shop and pharmacy!!

The Soda Fountain is a fun place to visit for a light meal and dessert! Everything I have ever ordered here has been delicious - and I've been coming for years.

This is a cute, local shop in downtown Buda. They serve coffee, shakes, gluten-free bakery items, and ice cream, as well as soups and sandwiches. Each person who has served me has provided excellent service. They also have a fun and nostalgic variety of candy.

Tiny shop, courteous, friendly staff bursting with hometown charm and honest, well made food. I had a ham and cheddar sandwich and a slice of pie on my lunch break with a peach soda, absolutely everything was fantastic. Ate at the lunch counter and listen to whom I believe was the shop owner chat with a local about life. Ten out of ten, made me happy to eat there.

Wonderful vintage soda shop feel. The decor of the place is great, the staff was very friendly, and the sweet treats were delicious. Great place to visit while strolling around downtown Buda

The Buda Soda Fountain is an EXPERIENCE! I took six of my kids there and my nephew. We were in town for a wedding. One of my kids has Celiac’s Disease, and it was so refreshing to be able to relax and know that he’ll be able to enjoy a gluten-free lunch without worrying about cross-contamination! There are lots of GF options for lunch AND dessert! The food was outstanding, and everyone finished off with a root beer float. There is also a great selection of candy. If you visit Buda, you MUST stop in to eat here. Also there’s a great little pharmacy next door that has things that most pharmacies don’t - essential oils, good quality supplements, and natural health type things.

This place is the best! Laura has made an effort to learn my name and is always so kind. It’s like stepping back in time to when service and care really mattered. The ice cream is delicious and the food is homey and comforting. Stop in and see for yourself!

My grandkids and I LOVE this authentic American place. Personal is very much guest oriented, friendly. The environment is creatively comfortable, prices are right. If kids are lucky, a train passes by the window, which makes our 1.5 to 4 year olds absolutely happy. Highly recommend. Thank you

The best soda fountain establishment ever

Buda Soda Fountain is still cool! I took my kids there when they were young, and now I've had the pleasure of taking my granddaughter! I love that they have actual Sundae dishes. It really added to the nostalgic vibe.

This is much more than a soda fountain - it’s a cafe, shop, pharmacy, and lunch spot. Staff is so sweet, made me feel like a regular on my first visit. I had a cold brew and a gluten free lemon blueberry cake - soooo delicious! You’d never know it was gluten free! Can’t wait to take my partner here, it would be such a cute spot for a date.

Seriously, this place could be addictive! Tasty lunch and pastry options, old school candies, shakes/ice cream, and delicious coffee. Stopped by with my kids this past weekend. Thank you for your customer service & unique product.

Wow! The Old Town feel. If that's not enough, you'll enjoy the treats that are sold there. My wife, grandkid and I visited the pharmacy and the Soda Fountain. Our favorite, the Dreamsicle Shake for her, mine was the Chocolate Shake! My granddaughter? She had the Crazy 🤪 Color Ice Cream Cone. Loved it!
Did I Mention the pharmacy? Well, I will. They are Super helpful and we're changing our pharmacy for sure....

Best gluten-free place in the area! They do have regular food and sweets which are also amazing! It is super kid friendly and the owner can pretty much make anything you can dream of:-)

Cute little shop. Took me back to Mayberry. Had a small scoop of ice cream. Friendly service.
