I have seen Ashley Courchesne for about 5 years, starting at the location on Common, and am glad they built this new office closer to the house. Brand new office vibe, same great service and level of care, and on time appointments. My wife and in-laws also use the PAK medical group for their PCP's.

I started seeing Dr Buchanan about a year ago. He has been very good at answering any of my concerns. I haven't had great luck when calling in to the front desk though. Hopefully that was a one time situation.

They can’t keep doctors there. It’s a revolving door of doctors cause it seems like a stepping stone for new doctors. I only like 10% of doctors I come across so when I find one, I’ll follow them. I’m bailing on Pak

Had occasion to use their phone system again. It is awful and the people answering their phone are untrained and incompetent. This is not what you expect from your doctor's office.

I wanted to throw a warning out about Pak Medical Group. I had been doing virtual visits at Pak due to my busy work schedule, I also work in the medical field but in technology. I had mentioned three months previously when I got my prescription that I needed to make an appointment and committed to doing so on the phone. Called three months later to get an appointment and prescription refill and they said I could not get a refill for my heart medication till I saw the doctor again. I said sure, I can do a virtual today or in person this week. My doctor and several others had left and I had to see a "new" doctor. They said I could not see the "new" doctor for almost 3 months and I would have to wait for my heart prescription until I saw the doctor. I asked for the office manager and she was RUDE as heck and when I expressed my concern with waiting three months off my heart meds she said that she did not care and that was their policy. Stay away from this place, this organization does NOT care about their patients, just the money they can pull in. Patients deserve way better. Look at all the other reviews out there, all kinds of problems here. They call this the "center of excellence", if that is the case the criteria must not be patient well being or patient satisfaction. Patients Beware! Overall score of 2.3 stars on Google, that is pitiful but very telling.

My wonderful Dr. of over a decade joined this medical group and it has unfortunately been a terrible experience. You cannot reach anybody in the office practically ever. I needed some blood work sent to another Dr. and it took over a month to accomplish. There are a few helpful people amongst the group, but the overall experience has been incredibly frustrating. Longer wait time before appointments, cannot reach the staff when calling, just overall not what I was accustomed to when my GP was solo.

Dr. Wofford is AMAZING however, since PAK took over, it is a TWO MONTH wait at another location and NOT for a well visit. I’ve been a patient there for 4 1/2 years. Total disappointment. Plus, the lady continually put me on hold for 1/2 hour just to tell me this!!😡

We left this practice and despite jumping through hoops for the past 5 weeks now they will not release our healthcare records to our new physicians. This is proving not only frustrating, but costly, as we are having to repeat tests that insurance will not reimburse us for as the y have just paid for the same test. This is dangerous, particularly for an elderly diabetic family member. We are filing a complaint with the Texas Medical Board.

New patient's to Pak Medical. Dr. Shackleford wonderful. Front desk Star, and Manager Lacy have quite a lot to be desired. Customer service is non existent, and you can see it comes from Lacy down. Told on the phone after waiting on on hold for over 45 minutes, that they were too busy to speak with me. As well, talking to Lacy, pulled someone else's chart up gives me incorrect information, then tries to retract saying both are same birthdate and procedures and were seen on the same day. So your giving me another persons information, and you didn't check the names?? Either way super rude and frustrating, these days I guess customer service is out the window. It's a shame we had high hopes for this medical group.

Terrible office manager, and billing department. Completely inept. 0 customer service. Patients are being forced into paying medical bills due to the lack of experience in their medical coding. Insured patients will pay while getting coverages denied due to this office. 0 communication from this billing office and insurances. Will belligerently defend their ineptitude, yelling and threating to drop patients when questioned further about medical coding. Complete lack of professionalism. Will be reported to the Department of Insurance to be investigated further.

I went here looking for help with some health issues and paid my bill in cash (didn't get a receipt and left not thinking about it), then received a bill in the mail for the same services I had paid for. I called them to let them know what happened and they said they would look into it. No one ever called me back, and they turned it over to collections. Now I still don't have any answers to my health issues and a negative mark on my credit. I would not ever recommend these crooks to anyone!

Almost comically bad at accomplishing anything close to what could be considered doing their job in the billing department. Patients will have to be ready to pay bills to this office that would be otherwise covered. This office is incapable of billing and coding an insurance correctly. Full stop. RUN dont walk away if you are looking at getting care from this office.

Very poorly ran. Their front office is extremely rude if it isn't to hand over money in some way or to agree with them up and down. If you run into an issue, they will not work with you. Run so fast away from this medical group and go literally anywhere else. Too bad because the specialist I saw was very good.

I really thought that I had found my next healthcare provider in Anne Shackelford until I had to deal with the front office staff when my lab results never made it there. The front office staff made zero effort to help me! I called them several times and more than once they said they would take care of the situation but they did not, instead when they saw my number pop up they didn’t answer. I had to call from a number they didn’t recognize to get through. I ended up going to the lab and getting my results cancelled my next appointment and found another Physician.
