Los Amigos

I absolutely love Los Amigos in Lake Dallas! This family-owned spot has the best breakfast tacos in town. The tortillas are always fresh and warm, and they have a ton of delicious filling options. Whether you're into classic bacon and egg or something more adventurous, they've got you covered. Plus, their salsa selection is out of this world - the hot sauce is flavorful but not as hot as some may enjoy. Los Amigos definitely delivers a fantastic, authentic experience.

Wonderful service, whole fish was supurb! Also had street tacos, but didn't get a picture. All was sooo good. A little out of our area, but would love to come back again!

This is a family owned restaurant, the best Mexican food on this side of town. The prices are just right, BEST ORCHATA IVE HAD! They are friendly and the food is just great. And they have a drive through pick up window!! ♥

Wife had the Caldo de Cameron's. She loved it, there were at least 8-10 jumbo shrimp in it.

A hidden gem, what I love is that they recognize us when we enter the restaurant and the home style meals. We have bought tamales from there made by the owner’s wife and coming from an ex El Pasoan they are absolutely the BEST I’ve had in the area! Try them, they won’t disappoint. Menudo is great!!

We dine at the patio last night. Weather was beautiful. Rocío, the owner and cook created us and we all six had fried tilapia. It was so good, rice was authentic Mexican. We've been going here since we moved to Highland village 3 years ago.
Breakfasts are great also.

My brother, nephew and I really enjoyed our first visit here. We will definitely be back. Food and service is top notch, and make sure to try the green sauce.

The family was out to visit Lake Dallas, and we discovered this gem, and I am so glad we did! The food is off-the-charts amazing! The tacos al pasteur were the best I've had in my life, incredible flavor. My Wife had chicken enchiladas, couldn't have been more perfect. My youngest had the flautas and everything was awesome! Throw in incredible staff and a pleasant atmosphere and it made for a great visit. We will be back often!

We're from out of town, but loooove grabbing huevos rancheros for brunch! We were a little late but happy to know they serve breakfast all day. And everything was delicious!

This is our favorite little Mexican restaurant. The prices are cheap, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is casual and quiet. We love everything on the menu here. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I love this place. I go once a week. The enchiladas are my favorite and they have great hours (I got sick for a week and was starving at 8am one day but they were there to help me out!). It appears to be family-owned by a military veteran and (I assume) his wife who seems to do the bulk of the cooking. This means it’s not a formal or chain dining experience so temper your expectations on that front. But the food has always been fresh and delicious and the prices are very reasonable. They even declined to sell guacamole one day because they did not like the quality of the avocados. It says a lot that they place quality above an easy sale. Well worth stopping in or coming back again and again.

I eat here at least once sometimes twice a week! The food is delicious and the people are very sweet. I recommend the tacos and the cheeseburger! And you can’t forget the tres leches cheesecake it is even more delicious! I would recommend them if you are ever in the area and it’s even worth the drive from wherever you’re at!

Friendly service. $10 per plate is typical. Everything I tried was good. The menudo tasted bland bit once I shook the container (carry out) all the Spice flavors came up.
