I'm here from out of town and in the mood for a good burger, came across this place and was pleasantly surprised. Their burgers are delicious! We had the Cheeseburgers and fries and fried mushrooms. Everything was perfect. No wimpy burgers here. Everything is fresh.
There's plenty of seating no table service, you serve your own drinks. A robot brings out your order right to your table.
We loved the food here and we will be coming back. Oh! This place is kinda hidden so just follow the signs to the parking lot.

Excellent place to get a burger. Google maps takes you to the wrong spot. When you're almost there to where Maps says it is don't turn left until you see the stationary building surrounded by the wooden fence. It is inside the fence. I posted a photo of the fence from the outside. Hope it helps. Enjoy!

This update is maybe our 13th visit; but we've still not quite become regulars. Not crowded last visits at 1:30 on a Saturday or at 5:30-6:30 PM on a Sunday. On one Saturday (the Labor Day weekend) at 1 PM it was packed. This is not exactly a basic burger joint; all the beef served is Waygu. The prices are no longer good, and are now much more than similar sized portions at places like 5Guys, not to mention fast food restaurants. The burgers and two other items we've tried are great. Good home-style French fries, skin on, salted and peppered, but not as salty as McD's. Onion rings were frozen (bad), but surprisingly good (go figure), but probably won't ever order them again. Serve yourself fountain drinks (so free refills). Highlight is the beef: so tasty, and fresh. Four flavors/styles of tea, including green and sweet. The Mushroom-Swiss Cheese burger was delicious, but then so was the regular cheeseburger. They offer something termed a steak burger, more pricey than their hamburger; avoid it. It's literally two small pieces of steak on a hamburger bun, tough and not very tasty, and as a result it was very difficult to eat it in a bun. We had to take the pieces out of the bun and try to cut them up with the available plastic knives. Not a pretty picture. They have a modest selection of beer as well. There are a handful of picnic tables outside, room for kids to run around in the grass, and they are pet-friendly outside. They are not open every day of the week, so check their schedule online before you go. Their latest improvement is a robot that delivers your food to your table. It was entertaining to watch patrons get out of its way as it navigated to its destination table. Customers here are very patient, even when it's very busy. I'll tell you why: great food, always prepared freshly to order. And, yes, they do understand the difference between well done and medium (at least most of the time, so if you want no red or pink be sure to emphasize that fact).

First time trying wagyu meat and they did not disappoint. All items ordered were nice and fresh with a very clean sitting area. Food was very good and at a good price range, customer service was on point and made sure the customers were satisfied with their order. There is freezers in the lobby in case you want to take some fresh wagyu meat home and cook it to your liking.
It's worth checking out if in the area or looking to try wagyu meat.

I went to The Flying Cow for the first time today and it was not a disappointment! The food and service was outstanding!

My friend and I got the A1 burger and chili cheese hot dog, fried green beans, and fried pickles and WOW everything was fantastic and super fresh!!

The fried green beans are a must order item! The fried pickles are thinly cut/battered and fantastic!!

I really like how they have sliced meats/hot dogs that you can buy and cook up later.

The only thing I didn’t care for (don’t come for me lol) was the milkshake…..I know not cool however it wasn’t worth the $5+ for me.

If you haven’t been, you need to make the drive to try it out because you will not be disappointed.

This off the grid, burger joint was an unexpected surprise. It's located in an RV park about 1 mile off of FM2759. Don't mistaken ly stop at the first place you see - that's not it! Although the burgers are on the small side, they are priced well. You can upgrade to sweet potato fries, but I liked the regular fries on my husband's dish better. The burger meat, which is Wagyu, was delicious. The restaurant is clean and unassuming. You order at the counter and get your own drinks. Your food is brought to you when ready (in about 10-15 minutes).

This place has the best burgers I have ever had... and people consider me a burger queen/burger snob! Everything was super fresh and the fact that it was delivered to us by a robot was awesome. They also have good deals on ground beef! Definitely recommend.

The Flying Cow!!
Referred by a Friend, and it did not disappoint.
The drive in was weird for me because it was at night, but once we pulled up we saw that it was a very nice place. I even asked about the history of the restaurant, it was a cool story. Must cone and ask. Staff was very friendly and recommended some items.
We had the Patty Melt, Chipotle Burger and a cheese burger. Pics attached.
Even if you are not in the area, I would recommend you try this place. They have a very good variety in their menu. We will definitely be coming back to try the different options.

It’s a good place I’ve been here several times just now leaving a review each time has been a good experience. Staff is friendly. You can tell that the owners really invested into their business over the years. Wagyu Hamburgers are very good. There is a difference from regular chuck beef. It’s not just hype. The fried green beans and sauce is a must every time. I always need a nap after. 🤣

ATTENTION BURGER LOVERS! This place may be "out of thus world" I mean out of the way but it is very well worth the trip for some freshly made to order burgers.I ordered the Classic Burger and fried mushrooms which was delicious. Friendly staff and Steve the cashier man is determined to remember you and your name on your next visit. Come one come all to The Flying Cow!!

Great steak on a Thursday Steak special! $5 off, and it was delivered by a robot! The chairs are not that comfortable and it’s like dining in a barn, but the helpful staff and good food at a great price make this a favorite local spot. Eat before 6 if you want to avoid a wait, but it is worth it no matter what!

We came into the restaurant this past weekend and it was more than worth the drive. We had the Chili Cheese Dog, BBQ Burger, Truffle Fries, and Fried Pickles. We truly enjoyed every single item we ordered. The wait was short and every single plate came out hot and fresh. The fried pickles and BBQ Burger were definitely my favorite parts of the meal but everything was worth ordering again. The inside was clean and bright, the staff was friendly, and the robot server was an interesting surprise. If you’re a fan of a good burger and a scenic drive this is definitely a must-try.

The long haired dude at the front was super nice, the burgers were terrific, fries crunchy but a bit salty. Will definitely be returning for more munching. Btw, the burgers are huge, kid size for mrs cthulhu.

Burgers are fantastic, specially the steak burger. Beer on the tap are very good! Their rewards program is pretty good as well. There is always something happening there. Specials and BOGOs are very frequent.

Maybe out of the way, but completely worth it. Definitely the Brussels sprouts as starter. We had the mushroom burger, the herb one and a regular burger. All super good. We will be back. The obviously haunted building is an old school house from 1912.

Pretty good burgers. While it’s not the best around, when I’m in the area I do go out of my way to come here if I want a burger. The location is a bit out there, but it’s very calm and scenic. When it’s not hot, eating outside would be great. I believe it has a small staff, so when they get busy you might be waiting 15+ minutes. They have a pretty neat robot waiter too. It comes to your table. Kids will love it.

Best burger I've ever had. 😋 Had to take some to go. Onion rings and truffle fries were amazing and there was no oil coming out when I bit into the onion ring.

We were very impressed by the quality of food at The Flying Cow. The restaurant is inside an RV community so don't think the map is taking you to the wrong place. During lunch hours you'll probably have to wait a bit but we thought it was totally worth it! We'll be back for sure.
