Hampton Inn & Suites Austin South/Buda

We stay in Buda to visit family and this time my flight was delayed to the point I missed my check in. The staff and management, Megan and John, were very friendly, helpful, and extremely patient with my situation. Rooms a clean and comfortable and all the staff treats you like extended family. And they have an indoor pool.

The lady that checked me in was very short and messed up my reservation. The shower heads in this hotel, in 2 different rooms, need deep clean. Other than that the breakfast was great, all the rest of the employees made you feel welcomed, very clean hotel, and lots of restaurants within walking distance!!!

Hampton Inn - Buda, TX. It is a great place to stay, if for only one night or a week. The front desk attendants, the housekeeping and maintenance team are top notch and very welcoming. When you want peace and quiet, it's here at Hampton-Buda.

I can't share deeply enough how THIS Hampton Inn made a tough time easier.
First, the front desk: I use a cane and asked for a room close to a door or elevator. Nothing was available so I picked my room (on the app) and just figured I'd deal with it.
But when I went to get my digital key, suddenly the app flashed and it showed a different floor and room. I went to the front desk. A VERY pleasant young man said, "I knew you needed a room by the door. I fixed that."
My room was warm (as in cozy) and clean. There was a light on over the bed. I don't know why but I was comforted by that.
Big room with a huge working area (which I needed but never mentioned I had "tasks" to do.) But I had room. Lots of room. Huge desk. Sitting area. Work area. Kitchen area. Dressing area. Much roomier than I expected.

But... my coffee maker didn't have a basket so I left a note for Housekeeping asking to leave me a basket.
A Manger called me back a few hours later and said she'd leave more baskets. (didn't even scoff because I was clueless.)
I mentioned my mom had passed away and I was there handling the estate sale.
When I got in that evening... I saw coffee. Baskets. Coffee packets WITH baskets. And a bag filled with treats. Snacks. A Sweets. Chex mix. A bunch of snacks. And a condolence note. I actually cried. I was touched. I really was.
THEN... if that all wasn't enough. I didn't have any smaller bills, so I left a $20 on the bed for housekeeping. I had been there for 3 nights and hadn't left them anything.
When I returned THAT night, my $20 was still there with a note. Housekeeping was concerned I did not mean to leave a $20 so returned it rather than pocket it if it wasn't meant to be left.
WHAT KIND OF HOTEL IS THIS???!!
Kind? Compassionate??? Helpful?? Honest??!!

Wow. I am floored. And as a Hilton Honors member, I have never felt as honored to be a guest as I am now.

Thank you Hampton Inn Buda TX. This has been more than a hotel stay. Hospitality is definitely your mission and I am humbled to have been a guest. And I was reminded what Hospitality means to the Hampton Inn.

The coffee was amazingly good! Room was clean and comfy. Could of used some new pillows. They were a little flat. Otherwise a great stay!

Great place worth the price!
Clean rooms, snacks n lemonade in the lobby, and delicious warm breakfast in the morning!

Alyssa is super sweet and great! She upgraded my room for my convenience! ❤ beautiful hotel as well!

The rooms were clean and neat.
The service was excellent and they were very respectful.
Their location is nice since you can get to the city of Austin in a few minutes which makes it very convenient. There is also some nearby stores that make this place great to stay at.
Highly recommend to all.

The young guy who checked me in was so polite and helpful. When I called to get some help with the tv, he remembered my name and sent help immediately.

Top notch Hampton Inn. Front desk was great with our multiple reservations. The king suites are super spacious and was very clean. The location is perfect for visiting the great little town of Buda and just a short drive to Austin!

We had a long drive and we stopped here for a few days and are stay here at the Hampton Inn. Was phenomenal customer service was awesome? I would like to thank Maria forgiveness hospitality. And are staying she explained everything I will most definitely stay again and refer family and friends to go see Maria here's a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ x 5 star rating

Room and location were great. Had some very nosy neighbors.

Great stay, comfortable rooms and beds, spacious, the breakfast was always really good, staff very friendly and helpful. I do recommend this hotel, you will find a good experience

I had reserved at a different hotel across the highway and I got a call as I was heading in to check in that they had no hot water so they contacted Hampton Inn for me and gave me same rate and I checked in right away with no issues! Girl working up front I didn't catch her name (pretty with glasses) was very helpful and made me feel very welcome! I was even able to extend my time there at same rate. Rooms are comfy and my stay was beyond what I expected! Great atmosphere great people. Definitely reccomend for short term or long term. I stayed for 2 weeks.

I would like to leave a Raving Comment for the sales coordinator Name Maria Segura, the most helpful and professional there. I have book the conference room for an event. She has helped me feel confident in booking ( I am NOT from Buda). I am so happy she has answered all my crazy questions and makes me feel that this event will not fail. so Thank You Maria. I also talked to Anthony the front desk man yesterday and he was a big help also. Maria was not in the office and he ensured me he took my message and somethings on his side for some questions I had with a smile in his voice. Way to go ! Thank you Thank you Thank you. If you’re looking to stay somewhere near Austin but outside of Austin this is a great option.

The rooms need to be updated (aesthetically), but they were clean and comfortable. I'd return.

Our overall experience at this hotel is definitely one of the best we've had with Hilton hotels and many other hotel chains. You felt welcomed as you step in the hotel. Then their staff were also very friendly. We would certainly pass on this very positive experience to our family and friends and would highly recommend them staying at this particular hotel. Please continue your excellent service.
