Lake Austin Smiles

As a long time, patient of Lake Austin Smiles and Dr. Knitowski, I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist. The staff is well trained, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I have been a patient of Dr. Jenny for over 10 years, and she always takes the time to explain what procedures are necessary and the expected outcomes. Typically, I am super nervous in the chair, but she does a great job of narrating each step in the process and making sure I am comfortable. I truly could not see anyone else! She did my veneers, and they look beautiful and entirely natural! She really knows what will look best for your face aesthetically.

I am often anxious with dental work and I have always felt horrible for needing so much help with my teeth. While the perfect fix for my dental challenges would be to break my jaw and then do braces, Dr. Jenny transformed my entire smile for the better with Invisalign and I have never been more excited to see the positive changes. The entire staff is amazing. They are kind, detailed, professional and compassionate. They even get me to relax and do all my hygiene without pain or bleeding. I couldn't recommend them higher and I couldn't be more excited to see the amazing results in all my photos with friends and families. If you need real help from the best there is, make an appointment with Dr. Jenny and her staff. First rate at every level.

Friendly staff, clean office and great services. Genuinely have a good time going to my hygenist Joni, she makes routine dental care enjoyable and Dr. Jenny is the best! My teeth are always dazzling whenever I leave.

I went in here so self conscious about my smile- I hadn’t had a cleaning in longer than I care to admit. Joni power washed me up and got my teeth looking beautiful again, she is a tooth artist! Lovely friendly staff, nice calming office and most importantly- PARKING. I already have another cleaning scheduled!

Everyone I’ve interacted with at this office has been super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Dental work makes me super anxious, but the team here really took care to put me at ease, with lowered lighting and soft music and such! It was incredibly helpful and made the entire experience so much more tolerable for me. They also were helpful and communicative when I had difficulties with my insurance. Overall, a great experience!

I just had my first appointment for a teeth cleaning. Every person I engaged with was so fun and positive. You can tell everyone is happy working there. Joni was amazing as a hygienist. We laughed and shared stories and became best friends. She put me at ease and validated any of my concerns. Dr. Jenny was phenomenal and thorough. We talked through all my options and she was patient with our conversation as we navigated through options and plans moving forward. I had so much fun with my teeth cleaning experience that I didn't want to leave! Cant wait to see this team again!

This is a lovely practice, so glad I found them. Great location, right across the street from Deep Eddy and Pool Burger! Everyone is kind and clear in their communication. Emily, the hygienist, has my teeth shining. I hear Joni is great, too. Highly recommended.

I have been going to this dentist for over 3 years now after a bad experience with one of the larger, corporate-run offices in town. This place is super convenient (location and parking). The staff is always nice, polite, efficient, and professional. They make it easy to keep coming back.

The best dentist experience I’ve ever had. Seriously, ever. Every single member of the team was so friendly and accommodating. They did an amazing job replacing bonding on my front tooth, so much so that you can’t even notice it’s not my actual tooth. Every decision was thoughtful and explained to me fully - I never felt like they were rushing to finish my appointment or trying to convince me to do extra treatments. I’m already looking forward to my next cleaning!

Today was my first visit to Lake Austin Smiles. I was sooooo impressed. The office manager, Pam, was amazing. So friendly and accommodating. My hygienist Joni was a dream. Gentle and thorough. Not an easy combination to accomplish. Dr. Petersen was so welcoming and kind. I am so so happy I found this gem of an office. I will add that I have struggled with nerve sensitivity and had not been to the dentist in 2 years. They were all so sweet and gave me ZERO grief for my lapse in care. I HIGHLY recommend.

The hygienist did such a great job of walking me though what was happening and what she was doing in a clear way I could understand and the dentist was so personable, it put me at ease. After a very short wait, you’re escorted to a room. This is where the magic happens.
Jen keeps you company as she preps you for the doc. Dr. Petersen walks in greeting you with a kind salutation and a beautiful smile.

Modern, sleek office with all the amenities and the friendliest staff you could imagine! Joni immediately put me at ease with some soothing music, an essential oil diffuser and her bubbly personality. You can tell she is personally motivated to give your teeth the best cleaning they have ever had. It’s like a spa day for your smile! Then Dr. Peterson came in and was so sweet and bubbly, we were just chatting like old friends. I really never write reviews, but this experience was above and beyond.
