Had dinner at Amaya's restaurant and was seated very quickly. My hostess was very professional, knowledgeable and with the menu and greeted me with a smile. The atmosphere was very family-oriented and there were quite a few families visiting that evening at the restaurant. The atmosphere was electric and there were lots of laughing and families engaging. Even though I dined alone I had a great time. The place that I order will very reasonable, parking was easy and plentiful and there is handicap accessibility available. Thank you Amaya Mexican restaurant staff, you're doing a great job. Keep up the good work! I will be sure and tell all my friends where to get some great authentic Mexican food and mango margaritas. ❤

Amaya’s is the perfect after work spot for intimate to medium groups of people. It’s casual and has a homey atmosphere. The menu is pretty simple, but it gets the job done. Definitely recommend getting some cheese dip. If you’re staying at a neighboring hotel and don’t want to go too far, this is probably my top recommendation. I wouldn’t come here expecting some high-end modern take on Tex-mex.

5 star experience everytime I go to Amaya’s! The Fajita Nachos are incredible. The Salsa is great & the bartender is great as well. Love the Happy Hour here; my go to spot!

Amazing tacos and enchiladas. Chips are wonderful and the salsa works perfectly with them. Service is always friendly and wonderful - smiles everywhere. Great way to take a break from traveling 35 southbound before hitting downtown Austin.

I loved the South Location (review mostly for South Location) and used to go every week for breakfast at least once a week. The staff there was amazing. Unfortunately, they are no longer open on weekdays, and I work on weekends so I can no longer visit. I made the drive out to the North location, and the service wasn't as good, but the food was exactly the same so they are consistent with that.

This has been a favorite 'go to' Mexican restaurant of ours for decades. They have some of the very best corn "puffy" tacos around. Parking is the biggest problem, but well worth a short walk, to taste some of their authentic TexMex fare. They also have daily specials along with drink specials. Ole!

We sat at the bar, bartender was very cool and friendly made some drinks, placed our order and bantered for good minute about food.

Tacos were great, everything about it was delicious! Definitely get the tacos.

Very attentive staff and a bright, open space. Seems like a good place to come with your family. The food was a little pricey compared to other places but they did give us big portions.

Delicious food, everything good with service, but the restaurant is located in Austin. I'm used to prices a little less expensive than Amaya's Restaurant.

Man I don’t know where to start this place knows what they are doing!!! It was super hot that day so it was only water and lemon for me. Then right on to the chips and salsa I really liked the spice on the salsa and I also ordered a queso cheese too i don’t know if it’s a Texas thing or what but the queso cheese is almost always yellow down here… but it still is really good queso… but I really came here for the Carne Guisada!!! Yes Carne Guisada!! One of the BEST Mexican dishes ever it’s steak beef tips with gravy served with rice, beans, guacamole salad and two big tortillas. Every time I come to Austin Texas I eat Carne Guisada who doesn’t want super tender steak pieces smothered in a thick gravy on a taco??!! I highly highly recommend this place wish they restaurants in Indianapolis would catch up and make this dish!!!

The food at Amaya's is soooooooo good!!! The beef fajita nachos are my absolute favorite and their chips and queso is a close second!!!! The serving sizes are very generous and the leftovers are also delicious!

I come to Amaya's EVERY TIME I visit Austin. It truly is one of my favorite restaurants! I definitely recommend this restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

I have to say they had the best salsa and chips I have had in a long time. The beef enchilada plate was excellent. I even went back for breakfast tacos the next morning. Both the gusada and bacon and egg were delicious.

Went on Saturday for lunch, and it was AMAZING ♡ I used to go all the time when it was located at the Capital Plaza Shopping Center, and when it relocated, I assumed it wouldn't be the same and that was a mistake! I finally went, and I was taken on a date here, and let me say It's bad always to assume. The food is still as amazing as before. The service here is great!! It's way bigger as well and very nice inside. Our waitor was great, and we'd given him a tip for such great service. Will definitely be coming back. MUST TRY THE CARNE GUISADA 😋 NOW the best spot I've ever had this made at HANDS down ♡♡
