Kumba is an absolute top tier stylist. Extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and very generous to her loyal clients. I started seeing her in March, since then she managed to help my hair grow out like 5 times longer than I've EVER seen it and she always gives useful care and maintenance advice (which I really need them most). She is a true professional and also SUCH a kind and talented woman! Love her!

First I want to say thank you Coumba for fitting me in last minute!!. Coumba has a lovely spirit and skilled hands. My small box braids was finished in 3 hours and she provided me with tips for my hair journey. She's my go to now!

This is the BEST place to get your hair done in the mid-cities. I love going to this salon. The owner is the sweetest lady and a true professional. She always impresses me with how well she does my hair. I always go to this salon when I want to look nice for a special event, and this place never fails me. Kumba is a true queen 👑 Today was my first time here and she immediately noticed that my edges were broken off from a tight set of cornrows. She hooked me up with A) great advice on rice water serum to restore my edges, and B) a gorgeous set of protective box braids! I was in and out of the chair in 2 hrs. and 30 min, and $180 was a more than reasonable price for the quality! I love my hair, her salon was very clean, her daughter is so sweet, and I'm definitely coming back!

The Women who did my hair, C.C. was so nice and indulged me in my talking, and made sure that everything was what I had wanted, down to the curls! I love my hair, and was even recommended by C.C. to come back and do box braids, in which I definitely will be doing!! Anyone and everyone who wants their hair done should go there, they'll give you want you want!!

I can’t be more thankful to have FINALLY found a stylist. A stylist that cares about my natural hair and can style it keeping it healthy. I drive over an hour just to sit in her chair! Y’all I was SHOCKED after sitting in the chair and 3 1/2 hours later my waist length box braids were complete. Mind you these braids far exceeded their normal life and still slayed. I went in to get kinky twists. I was dreading spending the whole day sitting down but that’s what we have to do for beauty sometimes. To my pleasant surprise, my hair was done and looked so good in under four hours! I have found my new stylist to braid my hair for sure.

I got my Marley twist braids done here and they were absolutely gorgeous!! I was very happy with the service and the speed. The twists were not too tight and even now nearly a week later they still look brand new! I will definitely be returning to this braid shop. Also the price was reasonable. The price I was quoted is what I paid.

I hardly ever leave reviews but Coumba deserves the BEST review! I am VERY picky about who I let do my hair and now she’s the only person I let do my hair. I get so many compliments about her work ALL the time. She’s so sweet and she always does a great job. I always genuinely look forward to coming and spending time with her while she does my hair. Call and set appointment. She was very helpful with recommendations on which hair to get. She has good customer service and she is a very fast braider for it to be her by herself. It literally took her a little over 3hrs to finish my hair. I was very impressed and I will definitely be returning.
