Methodist Family Health Center - Mansfield North

I have been to more than a few of these types of health centers, but this one was the best. Actually, it was the best experience by far. The facility was clean and the staff members were friendly and energetic.

They were able to see me promptly after my arrival. (At other locations, I would have had to wait for more than an hour to be seen, even when the waiting room was mostly empty.) When you are not feeling well, you want to be seen quickly and have your needs addressed so you can get on with the business of getting well again. This is exactly what the staff (Ashley, Josefina and Tzietal) provided during my visit. Every clinic should be just like this. But, let's face it, most of them don't even come close.

I scheduled online using MyChart and the MA replied within 24 business hours, just like reported and communicated with me until a date and time was acceptable with my busy schedule. COVID precautions in place, my wait time was minimal, and the office staff were not only professional, but friendly with many smiles.

My husband and I have been visiting this office for years. We love Dr. Georgekutty and the other 2 doctors in the office. We have not had ANY bad experiences with the staff either. They are a busy practice, just keep that in mind. LOVE THIS STAFF/OFFICE!

Office and staff where great. Dr. Conway was amazing! great doctor very kind and knowledgeable she really helped me while I was having a hard time.

Never have I felt so rushed and dismissed by a doctor before. I already had a bad experience trying to get an appointment yesterday with the rude assistant to and was told to call today to see if there is availability. I miss Dr. Conway… she was the main reason I chose this practice, however I’m finding myself looking for another primary care. Dr. Nolan seems like a great doctor, but was too quick to make a diagnosis and get me out. Did not feel as though I was heard. Sometimes change is necessary 😒

Unfortunately, like so many medical professions, they charge outrageous prices. Remember, it doesn't matter if it goes to your insurance or not since money paid OUT from your insurance affects your premiums (and everyone else's)

Case in point: Received an injection of a medicine that I paid for from a nurse which took a grand total of about 2 minutes.

Cost? $100

Was trying to get a Hep B titer and nurse/lab technician was extremely rude to me and undermined me I’m guessing because I’m young. Felt like she was rushing me out of the room.

Theee absolute worst PCP I’ve ever had. I was first being seen by Dr. Conway who was awesome because she heard me and thoroughly addressed my health needs. She made me feel like she cared and I wasn’t just another number on her list of patients to see. Unfortunately, she moved out of state, so I was stuck with Dr. Rodriguez. What a horrible experience I’ve had! Instead of him addressing my needs and getting me properly connected to services, he only told me what he was NOT going to do to help me. I would leave feeling like I was a nuisance to him and nothing changed for the betterment of my health. I’ve since moved to another PCP and have the complete opposite experience! If you are reading this review, find a PCP who is willing to have your best interest and health at heart.

This place is terrible. All the bad reviews are on point, not exaggerated. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone for a cold let alone something serious. I have MS, lived in Houston with the same Dr for 15 years. Moved up here and went to this practice to see Dr. Ramirez, told him my med regimen and to contact my Houston Dr for records. He refused to continue the meds I had been on for 10+ years because 2 of them were controlled and he,"just doesn't work like that". Like really?!, I'm a true sick disabled person but by all means id like to be your personal science experiment. Apparently my visit was during the departure of the good dr that the other reviews mention missing. My parents also saw the good Dr that left, so their next appointments were with Dr Ramirez too, during which he dropped my mother as a patient for questioning him. She's a retired physician herself and obviously must have insulted his ego...
This same practice is responsible for my mothers retirement as they gave her a shingles vaccine when she already had the symptoms, resulting in permanent nerve damage and had to stop working. There are even more wrong doings but I think the picture is clear, just please do your research and find a quality provider. And do us both a favor and never park at this BUSINESS, let alone actually step foot inside.

They do not know how to file a claim with the insurance even. My wife had done annual physical their and it's covered by my insurance. Before the appointment, I have called them and confirmed it also. But after one month of going there, I got a bill for the preventive visit. When I called them, they said the claim was rejected. But the insurance says they have not received any claim. This is so frustrating. And you have to wait in line 20mins just to phone them. Very bad service.

I moved to Mansfield some months ago and was hoping to find a good family practice. I tried this place and I didn’t like it. You can’t even see the Dr and when you actually need to be seen they are too busy to actually schedule same day appts. I received a very high bill as well for my first office visit with the nurse practitioner. I had some labs done there as well and I never did get a call from them. When in previous Family Practices I would get a call the same day or the next day. I guess they assume we should be checking MyChart and so I saw my results there several weeks later.

Very displeased with the lady at the front desk and the assistant to Georgekutty. Called 3 times to get my results and was given the run around of when they would be in. Finally was told it would be a week before I would get them and then no one has called me since. (It’s been two weeks) I saw my results online but it would be nice to have a doctor call and follow up with the patient. They rely too much on technology and are not personal with clients.

Yolanda at the front is extremely rude, short tempered, not helpful, and can't wait to get you off the phone.
My mother called after a fall to come in about leg pain, Yolanda was rude to her and and acted like it was pain to have to take her call.
Then after her visit which included an x-ray they had no results for her immediately and said they would call the next day and they didn't call then the two days later my mother had to call several times before she could get an answer to the results of her x-ray.
