They were quick and efficient. Great atmosphere. Great people. Affordable price. We took our Car in because it was sputtering and the check engine light was flashing. They said it was the coil and spark plugs were bad. They got it fixed and the car runs just like it did before.

Highly recommend these guys. Great turn around time and my 130000 mile Mazda is back on the road! So great to find some honest, experienced mechanics so close to home. Couldn’t be happier :)

I took my 2003 Dodge RAM to Lamb's with a power steering leak. I agreed to a $95 diagnostic fee. They then "diagnosed" a few other leaks and quoted me $1700 to fix the issues!

I took it to Dan & Jeff for a second opinion. An hour or so later I get a call. They had fixed the leak (an incorrectly situated hose clamp), tidied a couple of other things up and didn't even want to charge me!

Needless to say, we will take our truck nowhere else from here on out.

Honorable gentlemen the pair of them. Old school. It's becoming a rare breed.

I just had the best experience ever! I've been in Austin 6yrs now and haven't found anyone I feel comfortable with fixing my car on an ongoing basis...until now. My car broke down this morning and I had been calling around explaining over the phone what happened and no one could tell me what was wrong without charging a diagnostic fee of around $100 and up. A friend recommended Latham Automotive and when I called, they knew immediately what the problem was. It was 4pm by then and they said I could drop it off but probably wouldn't be able to fix it until tomorrow. When I got there around 4:30, they took the time to look at it anyway (without a diagnostic fee) and also addressed a couple other issues I had. They told me the problem was most likely caused by a dirty sensor. They promptly cleaned it and sent me on my way without even charging anything! I tried to insist on paying but they said to just take some business cards and spread the word. I am so very grateful for these gentlemen! They are honest, very knowledgeable and so helpful (explaining everything in detail each step of the way). I will definitely be returning and telling everyone I know how great they are! I have left so many mechanics wondering if I had gotten a bad deal or wondering if I was working with honest people. That's why I am so happy to have found this gem of a shop. Jeff and Dan are extremely kind and honest mechanics who did a great job with my car. I don't know much about cars, so Jeff took the time to answer all my questions and I felt like I left the shop with a better education about maintaining my vehicle. We will be back!!

I am confident in them providing the best quality parts and equipment at good pricing and NOT prescribing unnecessary work as I've had done with several other shops. They did a amazing job on my truck to fix the ac fan motor and relay switch.. price was better than expected and smoked the competition in town! I highly recommend Latham Automotive. Again great job guy's!

Called on Wednesday afternoon regarding starting problem with the 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jeff said to bring it in, which we did that afternoon just before their closing time. He called me Thursday morning with diagnosis and cost estimate, which I found reasonable. He called back later Thursday morning to say the repair was completed. We picked up the vehicle that afternoon. All done in less than 24 hours. The people at Latham are friendly, professional, and from my experience, they are competent also. Highly recommended.

I wanted to give a 5 star shoutout to my mechanic for my Austin area friends. My truck died suddenly yesterday and we towed it to them. Turns out a circuit breaker tripped so they reset it for me no charge. I even tried to pay them for an hour labor but they refused. These guys are honest and quality driven. They have a 5 star star rating on yelp for a reason. Its well deserved. Thanks guys!

Great auto repair shop. Took SUV in to repair rear AC (expensive) and Dan diagnosed as low Freon. saved me expensive repair.
