Blackhawk Creek Hike and Bike Trail

Fabulous trail ... neat & clean, shady, has distance markers. 3 miles from parking lot at Three Lakes near Fresh to the end (almost to car wash) and back. Very flat!

Fast & fun MTB action! Good intermediate to mildly advanced course with turnouts if you are less confident. If you are unsure about your skills, walk it first & consider taking the hiking path which is generally wider. Riding the hiking trails, you will still encounter a lot of rooty surface & some deeper sand pockets which will make things more slick. There are some transitions to narrow bridge-work, but if unsure, walk it with your bike. Stay hydrated & have a good time!

This is an excellent beginners to intermediate level trail. Great biking path with plenty of twists and turns, and only one longer hill. A few obstacles makes it fun, but the trail is still mostly a beginners level.

My husband and I hike the trails about 4-5x a week. We love it. So peaceful and well kept!

Beautiful trail, pretty easy going. Quiet except the occasional gunfire from the police shooting range.

Trails are well maintained and have nice variations of scenery.

I didn't even know this place was here. We were geocaching and dropped in to find one we haven't done before. The area was clean and maintained. The paths were clear and easy to find. Looks like a lot of fun to do on a day when it's not real hot. Portable potties available so go before hand. 😆

The hiking trails, although quite easy, are filled with quiet, beautiful scenery! The trails are long enough to feel like you've actually done your body some good and the peacefulness of the surroundings produces such a calming effect its worth every step! Blackhawk Creek is definitely a place I plan on returning to!

The trails where very well maintained, they where very beautiful trails to walk along with creek crossings, a variety of plant life to view and it was well shaded most of the hike . It was a very pleasant experience.

Always a nice place to walk, never too busy, nicely kept and even two porta potties at the entrance.
