Where do I even begin? I woke up last night during a crazy thunderstorm to find a small drip dropping into my kitchen, so that's a horrifying moment. Even w my insurance I'd still have to pay close to 10k out of pocket.

So I call Freetail Roofing first thing this morning at 802am. They send out Matthew and talk about professional. I was already set that I'd probably need a new roof. Matt came out and found a nail sticking out right where the leak was coming from, I'll be damned. He then patched it with some high speed patch and gave me a bunch of screws and caulk with the advice that I should wait for it to dry before patching up the other spots of concern.

This company could've easily taken me for $15k. Instead, they did the right thing. I'm a disabled vet living on fixed income so saving me money is no small thing to me. I look forward to working w this company in the future thanks to guys like Matt. Seriously, thank you Matt.

These guys are awesome. After a round of hail storms I had a slew of calls for roofing inspections. My wife had someone come out and they claimed that we needed a new roof. I was skeptical and wanted a second opinion. I'm so glad that I called Freetail. They got me on the schedule quickly. Matthew was great. He confirmed that while the roof was older, it did not need to be replaced yet. He did find a few small holes and he caulked them. For free. Do not hesitate to give these guys a call if you need an honest estimate.

What can I say? Fast, friendly and professional. Had an emergency roof issue and called several companies. All wanted to do a full roof on a 4 year old home versus a 5-10 shingle repair.

Came across Freetail reviews online and called them. Michael came out same day, temp repaired some shingles (Rained next 2 days) and gave me a great quote same day for a final repair.

Cannot express how good this quick turnaround from Michael and team reflects on the company.

I got Matthew's information from my mom since he had recently redone her roof. My house was in the line of hail a few weeks back an my roof is old. He came out to inspect it because I just wanted to make sure it was OK! He slapped a couple of nails and sealant in a few spots and said it should be good for a few more years (unless there's another significant hail storm before that). He will definitely be my go to guy when it's no longer good to go.

After having worked with Travis and Michael for many years doing occasional fixes on our roof we were finally able to pull the plug and get a new one. From the beginning, Travis had great communication and Michael came out and walked the roof with our adjuster as we had had hail and wind damage. Michael even came back to South Austin a week later to delivered samples so that we could choose the roof tile. We went with the upgrade that has a great warranty and when Brian and his fantastic crew showed up they were efficient and clean. The roof looks great and we very much appreciate the great service and attention to detail that we’ve come to expect.

Matthew came out to give me an estimate on soffit repairs needed on my house. He was professional and well educated on how the work needed to be done correctly. The follow week his guys came out and took their time and provided quality work the first time. Still good to know there is still honest help out there.

I have used Matt Melchor from freetail roofing twice now for 2 different issues and both times he has exceeded expectations. He was able to come out next day after contacting him and assessed damage even with hail storms just the day before (and I know that’s a busy time for roofing businesses.) He kept me updated during the whole process even sending me before and after pictures while I was at work so I could know the job was getting done right. I feel that Matt is one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met and I will only use Matt for any future repairs needed.

I can’t recommend Freetail roofing enough. They just put our second roof on our house and they did an amazing job. They are very communicative throughout the whole process. They sent someone out right away to look at the roof and talk with our insurance. The insurance adjuster was late and they waited patiently for them to show up so they could go over everything with them and then again with me. They provided pictures and worked with insurance on replacement costs. They came out to replace the roof and started at about 7am and were done by 4. They worked extremely efficiently and did an amazing and thorough job. I will call them for every roof I ever need. I recommended them to my neighbors down the street and they had a very similar experience. Choose them and you won’t be sorry.

I had some shingles come off my roof and had someone come fix it. Bad idea! As the person who fixed it did a terrible job and charged me $250. I reached out to Freetail Roofing and the owner fixed more than I asked for at material cost! He re-did all the bad work and made sure the shingles would not blow off. I will be using Freetail for a full roof replacement when ready. I cannot recommend this company enough. Good, honest business is not always easy to come by.

Great experience! Had them fix our roof after hail damage as well as the gutters and chimney siding. Communication is easy and prices reasonable. Quality is top notch, will be our go to roofer moving forward!

These guys know roofs. I had a multi problem flat roof that had sags where rain water would pool causing leaks and eventual structure damage. I had two roofing contractors refer me to Michael "He's the only roofer in town with the expertise to solve your problem".
He and Travis came out the next day and spent an hour inspecting my roof then another hour plus with me explaining the problems, solution & patiently answering all my questions in terms I understood.
The next day Travis emailed me 2 itemized proposals, pricing and warranties for my flat roof home and a composition shingle roof for the guest house.
