Whitehouse Police Department

Had an urgent situation and was pulled over by a Whitehouse police officer. He was kind, understanding, and helpful. Remember to humanize the badge!!! They are just doing their job and trying to help the community.

We had a battery incident in our mobile home park involving an unauthorized guest. Officers were called and broke off the fight. Officer Scott then provided information on what we can do to prevent the person from entering the property again. Then he followed up regarding the case and our options. They were timely and professional. This kind of public service is a great help to the community.

Sec. 552.006. USE OF SIDEWALK. (a) A pedestrian may not walk along and on a roadway if an adjacent sidewalk is provided and is accessible to the pedestrian.
(b) If a sidewalk is not provided, a pedestrian walking along and on a highway shall if possible walk on:
(1) the left side of the roadway; or
(2) the shoulder of the highway facing oncoming traffic.
(c) The operator of a vehicle emerging from or entering an alley, building, or private road or driveway shall yield the right-of-way to a pedestrian approaching on a sidewalk extending across the alley, building entrance or exit, road, or driveway.
The "and on a highway" makes what your office done illegal. This tells you it is only meant for "Highway" if you have any kind of a brain that is.

Terribly unprofessional police department completely refuses to investigate reported crime or give case number attached to saud investigation
