First Baptist Church of Hurst

Best worship service I’ve ever been to, the kids ministry is amazing and the pastors do a great job teaching the Bible!

I love to call First Baptist Hurst my church. There are so many things about this church that are excellent. We have Connection Groups, aka Sunday School, on Sunday mornings. These groups help you dive into God’s word as a small group. Being in these groups enables you to make new friends and connect with each other. If you have kids the children’s ministry is great. The teachers care for your children and the kids love to go and learn about God and have fun. Student ministries is for the 7-12 grades. Our student pastors really have a heart for the youth. During worship time the music includes some contemporary and some old hymns. Our lead pastor always has a great sermon to preach after worship time. God’s word is always spoken and taught during our services. If you want to get involved in a church that is mission minded, this is the church for you.

Been member since 1958 and I will be until I go home to Heaven.
This church has the best staff of Godly men and women, and a very loving and inclusive church family. Our love for and participation in missions is awesome.

This Church is all about community! We have been members for several years and have received multiple blessings. I have brought 2 friends to visit here and they have become members as well. " Go and BE the Church " is exactly what members do. Currently, Church deacons are building a wheelchair ramp for my mother [a member also] who had an AKA in November. If you are looking for a Chirch home I highly reccomend
