Southside Flying Pizza

For week day lunch we got tasty pizza (Athena, Pepperoni King, and cheese). I enjoyed the thinner crust. Great rose, beer, and Maine Root soft drinks. They have a nice shaded patio area to sit and enjoy. Pinball machine inside. The fact that it's connected to a gas station enhances the cool vibes.

Great food, friendly one man staff, atmosphere a bit run down, but interesting local decorations. We loved it. Give it a chance.

The staff is Super Duper Nice. They finally cooked my wings exactly like I love them. Extra crispy and wet. If you're looking for good hot wings theirs are well worth a try! Looking forward to trying their Pizza next.

Staff friendly, pizza tasty- that's good enough for me.
Ordered online and collected, easy parking outside. Recommended when hungry and don't want a long wait for food. Can grab a take away beer next door at the garage if so so please while you wait.

Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Been dreaming of it since I got back to Dallas and can’t wait to go visit this location the minute I’m back in Austin. The sauce was incredible, perfect crust. *chefs kiss* so good. Loved the atmosphere, it was like the whole place was the kitchen. Definitely worth checking out. A hidden gem.

Got the XL Double Dragon. Loved the kick. All of it was great! Customer service was great too. Chill place. Love the glass bottle drink selection too.

Live close to this place and have been pretty happy with not only the pizza but also the service. Employees are always friendly and polite. Pizza has been good also. There is a table or two set up inside however, not really ideal for eating inside. They do have outdoor seating however, I have never eaten there while sitting outside. This location is located within walking distance of several other restaurants and near Lamar Union Plaza.

I got the Trio Italian. It was AMAZING. Cooked all the way, thin crust. I can't eat greasy pizza which is most places and this was healthier. I ate 3 or 4 slices Medium size and I was full but not bloated; most pizzas give me the heavy feeling. Definitely gonna buy from there again it was 17 for a Medium which is over priced IMO but it's a good splurge when needed. I got the provolone cheese light cause my girlfriend is lactose intolerant. And the original tomato sauce has a sweet flavor which I LOVE! GOOD QUALITY SAUCE. No acid reflux.

There's a crew working the tattoo convention. The pie was really good. Wouldn't think it could be considering its a pop up type set up. And the crew is so nice and so cool! Beautiful girl with blk curly hair has the attitude I wish every one that touched my food would have

I think we ordered from here three times while in Austin! So good. We looooove that you can order your pizza how you want like getting it well done.

Always a good time for great pies at this location. The gentleman that made our pie was in his element, everything about the pizza was on point.

Awesome staff. Very helpful and not pushy. Pizza was good. I was supposed to be getting a burger but time constraints stopped that. On way back to work I seen this place and turned in. I was hungry, better than nothing but now I know this will definitely be a lunch/dinner spot for me when I'm at work. Thin pizza but every place has it's own. I'm used to thicker side pizza from being from ny but at least when I crave pizza I got a good spot now.

I just moved to town and walked here. The staff were so lovely ! I'm a little disappointed . Not in the pizza , but in myself . I'm currently trying to eat the entire pizza by myself because it is the best pizza I have ever had. I ordered the classic pepp pizza. It is so amazing it hurts. Boyfriend ordered buffalo chicken and it is divine as well. I hate this place for being so close and convenient and friendly and delicious :( :)

Got to be the best pepperoni pizza in town if you are a brooklyn pie type. Good sized slices, right cheese combo, quality pepperoni and sauce, cook just to the starting point of caramelizing the cheese. Love it!

First time ordering their Margarita slice , that by the way is huge , more a two slices. The crust was thin well come and the toping fresh and smelling the basil so good. Suggestion: Add some more mozzarella pieces. It was a really good experience. Will order again.

I've regularly had great experiences here. Tonight especially they went above and beyond. We ordered a large take out order and we forgot the wings there. The manager on duty personally brought them to us. That's awesome and is such a great extra step as I was hosting family and friends from out of town.

I've always loved Southside Flying Pizza, they have a great thin-crust with the perfect combination of crunch and chewy. Their sauce is delicious, and though they don't skimp on the cheese, they also don't over-do it, and there's the perfect level of greasiness. Anytime I'm in the area, I can't help but pop in for a slice!
