The most amazing place especially on a Sunday afternoon while topless hippies with hair wild and all over are putting on great drum circle with ATX 's most talented drummer's showcasing a spectacular show for all who dare to join the show! Great for all ages and awesome family fun or couples looking to relax and cudle on a blanket. Either way a guaranteed good time in Zilker ! Be sure to burn some trees with the smell of patchouli and incense ! Hope to see all of the ATX community showing support in this peace and love 60s throwback!

Drum circle Church on Sunday Funday afternoon is healing and filled with beautifully spirited musical souls! One of my new favorite spots. Thank goodness for the happy hippie bus trip that fabulously manifested us there that first day..

Drum Circle on Sundays...What an excellent way to wind down or up the end of your weekend. COOL people, nice vibes, good music, and all of this under a beautiful Oak Tree in the middle of the park on Sundays till a little after dark. Top less hippie chicks, leg and underarm hair, scent of patchouli in the warm summer breeze... Old Austin in a nut shell.

This place is a bit of pure, old Austin magic. Chill vibes with a bunch of hippies in a drum circle on Sunday afternoon literally burning sage, others dancing, others just relaxing on picnic blankets nearby. Some call it "Hippie Church," and I can see/feel why. And the tree itself is huge and beautiful ~ old time Austinites call it The Mother Pecan.

I enjoy going to the tree, plopping down on a blanket, and taking in the great vibes. Often people will gather here for drum circle (especially Sunday afternoons). Great place, it seems, to meet people with a higher consciousness.

Loved the experience. Went out on a Sunday night and nothing but love and great live dancing and music. Would recommend of you wanna layout in the grass and enjoy the ambiance.

The most famous pecan tree in Austin, this is a great spot to lay out in the sun or walk down to the Barton Springs spillover. You will often find musicians, drummers, dancers and other artists hanging around the tree on anyday. This is also where you can find Austin's Sunday drum circle meeting.

Why th'Sunday night Drum Circle is not internationally known is beyond my ability to ken!
