Crawfish Shack & Oyster Bar

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! My workplace provides lunch every Friday, so I decided to mix things up with a crawfish boil. The Crawfish Shack & Oyster Bar was the only restaurant willing to handle an order of 60 pounds of crawfish, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The cooking staff, manager, and owner were fantastic to work with. Not only did they boil 60 pounds of crawfish, but they also packaged them into 2-pound bags. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were immediately greeted and offered beverages while we waited. Even as they worked on our large order, they attended to every customer who walked in. I am beyond impressed and can only imagine the hard work that went into making this happen. I will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you, from all of us!

Hidden little gem in Austin. My fiance introduced me to this place, and I have been in love with both every since. Our go-to are the crab boils. While expensive, the quality of the crab is top notch. They know us by face and name, and it is one of my first stops whenever I'm in Austin!

This is such a fun place to come to. The food is great. Shrimp Diablo is a must have. Étouffée is also excellent. Service is friendly and on point. Very good for families. An excellent value considering the exceedingly generous portions...I couldn't finish my plate, even though it was amazing. If you like seafood, you'll likely like this place.

Food was beyond phenomenal, staff asked during the meal if I wanted to try out some other sauces and the broth they use for the boil, definitely coming back to try out the seafood boil. No complaints on the fried oysters, hushpuppies or rice.

I come here after work every couple weeks, Blade’s always here and is polite and quick with service, plus just cool to talk to. I’ve had most things on the menu that have alligator in them, it’s my favorite. The beer’s cold and the ambiance is chill, I recommend this place to everyone who’s looking for some good cookin’

Small restaurant but a homely environment for group gathering. Ordered 4lbs snow crabs, 4lbs Shrimps, 2lbs Crawfish, the sweet corns is so flavourful, red potatoes average, sausage and baby bellow is yummy. Fried Calamari is just average. Price is reasonable and good. Would visit again.

The $40 Swam Basket (feeds 2 to three) was fried everything.... crawfish tails, popcorn shrimp, alligator and jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp, and Cajun fires with a side of dirty rice and fresh tea. Served so fresh it was still piping hot and fresh. The food was so good I decided to try the boiled crawfish to take home. They were small but full of flavor and mild spiced as I had requested. The table next to me got several pounds for their table ....extra spicy, and you could tell it was hot. My sinuses and the sweat on their lips told me all I needed to know about this place! It's good, and I'll be back.

We are from FL, and were visiting Austin for the first time for a soccer game . My daughter., grandson and I decided to go eat there after reading the reviews.We ordered the Crawfish étouffée, Seafood Combo. It was delicious 🔥 A big shoutout to our server EVAN! Went in on a Saturday evening, wait was about 20 minutes. We ordered a dozen oysters as the appetizer and tasted great. I had the 2lb crawfish plate and wife had the crawfish etoufee. Server gave us a crawfish 101 as it was our first time having them! All food was on point!

We enjoyed the food and service here. Such great flavor and great portions! The music was fire and really set the vibes! We will be back.

Wow what can i sayyyyy, the service and staff was AMAZING and the best customer service I can recall i’ve had, the food was soooooo good and the pricing was awesome. Me and my gf were non stop talking about how we will be a regular and gonna refer them to everyone. 11 outta 10!

This place is amazing. The food was great and the staff was friendly. Our waiter kept making jokes and had us laughing everytime he came by to refill our drinks. I'm definitely going back. I love seafood and so far this has been the best seafood spot I've visited.

Daylight savings caused them to have a slow start, but the crawfish and service was great, nonetheless. The staff was kind and attentive. The crawfish was off the chain as always - you will be paying $14 a pound or so, but definitely worth it. Great job guys! -1 for atmosphere due to the other bathroom being out of order but nbd.

Great crawfish!!! A little small so if ur looking to bring a big party I would call ahead. The staff was incredibly nice.

This hole in the wall was a treasure I had no expectation of finding. Meant to go to a completely different place for some seafood and ended up driving by here instead.

The crawfish was completely sold out as Texans have a high demand for that particular delectable crustacean.

We ended up getting a mild seasoned snow crab, king crab, mussel boil out of the pot with corn on the cob, sausage and onion. Man! What flavor! The seasoning and butter with the perfectly cooked seafood was incredible and we both left completely stuffed from clearing out the giant bowl shown above.

Service was incredible and friendly with the waitress bringing us 3 free samples each of their marg, Pina colada, strawberry lemonade slushes.

If you are craving a boil and a beer definitely try this place out,HOWEVER, be warned as when the crawfish is available wait times can be 1-2 hours. This place does however let you come and put your name on a wait-list and go next door to the bar to shoot pool why you wait for their call.

Nice yummy food. I ordered crawfish with sausage and corn, crawfish etoufee, fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried catfish, and french fries. All was delicious.

The service is great. The food is incredible. The owner is so nice! I would highly recommend and will be back!
