Come for the salsa, stay for the enchiladas! They have an extensive menu that will suite any tastes and dietary restrictions. I highly recommend the chipotle chicken enchiladas or the green chili enchiladas (not spicy but flavorful). The servers are great and can accommodate any size party. Speaking of parties, they have a banquet area for larger family gatherings.

We used their banquet room for an event. Dayana and Misti were super accommodating and friendly with our larger than expected guest list. The fajitas and tortillas are excellent and the flan was too! Wonderful neighborhood spot staffed with good people.

My family has been going to the Texican sense I was a child. The food is ALWAYS good! Good drinks good atmosphere I love texican!

The service is great, it's my favorite restaurant, and the food is so good. They get a waiter almost after you get comfortable. The place is clean with music in the background. And you can even watch sports near the bar. I have always loved the place so it's a solid 5 stars. Take out is fast if you have a small or medium sized meal.

Read another poster's positive review about this restaurant so I had to check it out since my husband was in the mood for Mexican food. So glad we went because the food was good. I ordered soft shell chicken tacos with white cheese ... no complaints. My husband ordered the San Antonio enchiladas and he was pleased. We sat in the patio area away from others. The service was excellent.

Food here is just amazing. From the El Paso Enchiladas, to the Beef Fajitas, to the Shrimp Flautas, everything is so tasty. Sometimes we come just for the homemade chips, tortillas, and salsa. The food has been amazing for 25 years and Texican will always be one of my favorites!!

Good Mexican food and decent prices. Texican Cafe has a good kids menu too. They have a full bar with plenty of margaritas and beers to choose from. It can get a little busy on the weekends. So just plan a little for that.

I love this place!!!! Misti was awesome and attentive... I had a lot of questions about the menu, and she was so patient and helpful! The food was great! I can't wait to come back!

Our waiter first off was outstanding. He got every detail of our order correct and was attentive and tend to our part perfectly. The food was prepared as we requested and brought out at the perfect temperature for eating. The ingredients tasted fresh, well prepared, and very tasty. We have visited this location twice so far, and each time we we're glad we came.

This is in Austin tradition that has been around for as long as I can remember. The food is delicious! It has been consistently delicious for at least 35 years. The service is always great and I love the fact that they offer a margarita flight if you can't make up your mind, lol 😂

This is the best Tex-Mex food in the Austin area. Chris is an excellent server! Ask for his section. Regardless where you sit, the food is awesome.

This Mexican restaurant is a true standout in terms of both food quality and family-friendly service. I had the Chipolte Chicken Enchiladas and my guest has beef fajita tacos. Both were EXCELLENT. I highly recommend. Plus, I love that there are privacy dividers between each booth and that the restaurant is very clean.

Get the tortilla soup! Amazing. 🤩

Started out nice, we were seated where nobody else was close to us, but before we even ordered we had noisy groups seated on each side of us that made it impossible to have any kind of quiet conversation between 3 of us.

The food was awesome as always tho! 👍
