In the past I havent have good experiences with SpectraCare, but this past year I was referred to Dr. Lopez and I think he is wonderful. He knows what he's talking about and I trust his judgement. I never have to wait long, and when I have any issues with my medications, the staff does everything they can to help me.

They don't answer the phone, send messages, call back and I drive 40 minutes to see my Therapist. I've been trying to get a appointment for 2 months now and I can't even get them to call me back! Not good for mental health!

If you have any other option seek mental health care elsewhere. This “reputable” 501c(3) organization was sued by the government. That should tell you everything you need to know. Besides rude and disrespectful staff, one doctor was rude and condescending. Completely unprofessional. You are far better off scheduling an appointment with a general practitioner and getting a referral to competent medical professionals.

I’ve never been treated with less dignity and respect in my life. For a place that is supposed to be there to help those that are the neediest of our society, they certainly treat people like they do not matter and they are just an inconvenience. The worst, most unprofessional office staff that I have ever come into contact with. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat people in need. They will straight up lie and gaslight you and put their mistakes on you and act like you are the problem. If I could give less than one star I would. I never made it back to the doctors. Hopefully they are better than their front staff. I will go untreated before I allow myself to be degraded like that again.

HORRIBLE PRACTICE OF BUSINESS RAN BY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF will lie straight to your face getting you in the door then deny you the first day in a group session even with proof of FOOD STAMPS they considered to be income

I take Adderall for ADHD. It's a miracle drug that improves focus academically and in the gym. Without it I'm scatterbrained, cannot remember important tasks, am not as attentive when driving, and my interpersonal relationships suffer because I am not as pleasant to be around. I just started seeing SpectraCare Dothan because I stopped taking Adderall for a year subsequent to my last doctor retiring and just moving to the area. What I NEED is consistent service from a doctor who has sworn a Hypocratic Oath to help others. What I RECEIVE is only 30-day prescriptions (even the state law is 90) that force me to be a slave to the system. I try to stretch out what I have by taking half-doses and skipping the second dose of the day. Adderall's supply chain is inconsistent; at times, the pharmacy will simply not have any for a few months. When I am traveling, SpectraCare will not allow me to get my prescription in another state, regardless of whether state law allows it. These people are literally more restrictive than state and federal laws regarding Adderall. When sitting in the lobby, there will be all sorts of clients, including handcuffed ones in jail fatigues sitting with chaperone police officers. It's clear that SpectraCare treats all clients like they are either children or drug addicts with such restrictive behavior. This activity is not serving the client. It's insulting and it fails to provide adequate service. In a Capitalistic situation, a business must provide what the customer wants. In whatever sort of ridiculous socialistic over-regulated restrictive situation this is, a business can stay solvent even when they absolutely refuse to provide what the customer wants. Businesses that give the middle finger to their clients should go out of business immediately. SpectraCare exemplifies many of the problems our culture has today.

This place is honestly terrible. First, the woman at outpatient sign in is very rude and will outright lie to you. Second, I know that a lot of court mandated people come here but that doesn't mean they have to treat everyone like a criminal but they do. Third, the red headed woman in charge is so out of touch with what is actually going on that it's pathetic. This place only has one positive, it has ONE really great therapist and if you don't know who that is, then avoid this place like the plague!

Bait you into getting actively hooked on medicine you can't quit cold turkey, then will turn you away from your doctor appointment at refill time for not fulfilling "requirements" such as mandatory counselling they fail to mention in advance. When you try to talk to them about it, they are confrontational and try to dominate the conversation, often deferring your concerns about the long term sustainability of your treatment to the emergency room. Please look for literally any other treatment you can find. This place should be sued and dismantled.

I relapsed back on opiates after a car wreck, figured spectracare would have actual doctors with education unlike the other subuxone clinics in town. Every nurse, therapist, receptionist, even both doctors had never heard of the drug i am allergic too. I am alergic to naloxone, ya know, 1 of the only 2 ingredients in suboxone. They still forced me to take the script i am allergic too. The incompetence of local doctors lead to my opiate addiction to begin with. Avoid this place. Check out SOAR on westgate instead, equally ingortant to science, but they actually care about you

The staff is very confrontational, I was called a liar every time i went in there. I was cornered in a back hallway and berated by staff. Was forced into the program by CRO, then when asked what my goals for the program were my answer was "to complete the program and do what you tell me to do." Apparently that is not an acceptable answer. Best advice is to lie and tell them what they want to hear. They are just there for a paycheck they do not care about you at all.

My husband went asking for help. Actually cried wanting to die....they calmed him by telling him they would help him. Took the information about insurance and medications that he was taking by his Dr. As upset and scared as he was they made him an appt. to be assessed a WEEK from then.!!!!!! He made that appointment and was told they had a room for him, and as soon as their Dr and his Dr got together... he needed to be there by noon the next day. Heard nothing....tried calling Daphne several times to find out what was going on did not even return his calls and messages. Out of desperation he called the Haven...a Michelle told him that he would have to detox before they would take him. Daphne finally called (only AFTER he went to try to talk to her in person and she sent someone out to tell him she'd call him). Daphne told him he needed to go to Dale co. Hospital to detox for 3 days first. I took him....him with suitcase in hand...they turned him away saying Spectra Care didn't have the right to send ANYONE there. Daphne told him she was getting in touch with them now and they'd be ready for him!!!!!!!!! Just unbelievable!!!! What a horrible inhumane thing to do to someone asking for help. Shame on all of you.

This place has poor work ethic and bad manners. They are rude and never call you back to reschedule appointments. This place is no way equal to other healthcare providers.
