Effingham County Circuit Clerk

I talked to Liz over the phone about paying a traffic ticket. She was so friendly and helpful in walking me through what to do and emailing the instructions. Made the whole process much more pleasant

Not had great experinces with efdingham county courts

Officer should have a maximum of 10 days to bring a traffic ticket here so you can pay it. Been here 4 times and it's been 22 days. Officer has still failed to bring my ticket and it is still unpaid when I've tried multiple times to pay it and my time window is over in a week now. What happens if I'm unable to pay it until after the deadline due to the sheer incompetence of this place? Why do officials in this town seem to have a mindset of not doing anything until personally forced to by a citizen? What happened to just doing your jobs and getting things done? every step of this process I've had to personally call them and tell them to do their jobs or nothing happens.

Very RACIST TOWN: They arrest mostly people of color that’s driving threw their town for minor traffic offenses make them post bail then forces them to come back to their town to appear in court even if you pay the ticket and fines

Another corrupt Effingham institution. Unprofessional staff and unprincipled Circuit Clerk.
