Wonderful staff. Amazing selections to choose from whatever your poison. Their tastings are so much fun and educational. If you want a glass of wine with friends or spend the evening listening to live music, this is the place to be.

Wonderful store with great bourbon selection including unique single barrels. Katina was extremely helpful and I highly recommend this store!

Amazing and huge selection of any type of adult beverages a person could ever possibly want. There is a bar, a shop, a separate sort of cabaret seating area that offers live entertainment, outdoor seating, rooftop seating, event venue and even gifts. We ordered food from Don Pedro's and sat on the rooftop dining deck where we ordered drinks for our lunch. Very friendly and accommadating server (or owner, not sure), but I asked if she could make me something with rum and pineapple, and she made up a delicious frozen drink, which went wonderfully with my Mexican entree. We will definitely return, especially because hubby's family all lives locally and those we dined with enjoyed it as much as we did.

Best selection in the area that I know of. Great customer service. Rooftop area to have a glass of wine and a bite to eat from other local restaurants.

My wife and I were driving back home from Florida and stopped for an evening in Effingham. We decided to find a place to get some wine and found Village Wine and Spirits. What a find! Great service, great wine selection, great vibe and a wonderful experience! If you are ever in the area, I HIGHLY recommend a visit - you won’t be disappointed!!

Nice neighborhood gem! Stopped in from the block party festival down the street and had a drink while listening to live music...Johnny Chase. Honestly the music was better here than the festival. Drinks were good and the place was clean and inviting. Had a few separate bar areas which is something you don't see very often. Will have to go back next time Johnny plays too.

People were friendly and helpful. Helped us pick out a few bottles at different price ranges and answered all of our questions since we didn't really know what we were doing. Samples were delicious!

Had been a few years since I had been in. Has expanded quite a bit since last visit. Really nice place, great selection, and loved the sounds of happy laughter. It's easy to tell when people are enjoying themselves. And young lady that assisted me in finding a sub for a wine they did not have was great, very helpful, very knowledgeable. Definitely a place I will revisit next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! They have a huge selection of wine, although I am a bourbon drinker, there is really no place like it. Huge selection of bourbons and also have a one of a kind selection behind the bar to try almost any whiskey you could name including a lot of hard to find whiskey! Katina is great and it’s nice to have someone who really knows there stuff! Can’t recommend enough

A wonderful unique store in Effingham. Two knowledgeable ladies helped me secure a couple of special bottles for Christmas as well as a single barrel product that has been made specifically for their store. I was impressed with their selection of unique offerings, Reasonable prices, and a knowledgeable staff.
