Ordered flowers for a friend that was recently hospitalized. Even though it was past noon, Burklands was able to make a beautiful arrangement and delivered the same day! Beautiful flowers and fantastic service!

Called from out of town. Asked them for a floral arrangement for a funeral with yellow roses. Gave them a price and told them to make it beautiful and unique. They knocked it out of the park. Best arrangement at funeral. Even the sons were impressed. Great customer service. Highly recommend!

First time out of town customer. Made telephone order for a funeral flower arrangement to be delivered 12 miles away. Received a beautiful quality fresh flower arrangement. If you're an out-of-town customer, you can trust Burklands to deliver a quality product at a fair price.

I had a fantastic experience with this florist. I have a friend that I used to do business with who was a florist in another town and she told me to always call the florist directly, tell them your budget, and then let them pick the bouquet. I started to order my Valentine's bouquet online and then called to ask if a vase was included in the online special. When I did, the nicest lady answered my call and told me that she could take my order there and then. Not only was delivery cheaper, but I'm almost certain that I got a much better bouquet! It was wonderful! The moral of the story is "trust your florist," and more specifically, "trust Burklands!" Don't go to Flowers.com or any other online company that is going to take a cut and then give you the same flowers for a higher price! Buy direct!

I was able to quickly order a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my grandma’s birthday all the way from Colorado. I chose the deal of the day because I knew I would get the most beautiful, fresh flowers. They came through with a gorgeous arrangement that was feminine and Spring-y. The price was right and the flowers were delivered them to my grandma bright and early in the morning. I would definitely recommend and will use this florist again in the future.

I live out of state. Bought a floral arrangement for my mother in law's 90th birthday primarily because Cindy Etter Sowers works there. My mother in-law loved the arrangement and they arrived at the time I had requested. I appreciate the attention to detail and artistic talent of the people that work at Burklands. Thank you!

I am so happy with the florals for my uncles memorial. Kay took such amazing care of us, and the flowers were stunning! We are all amazed by them and he price was perfect!

We visited to select flower arrangements for a funeral. The staff was extremely helpful and reassuring throughout the decisions.

We used Burkland's florist to serve our wedding floral needs. We were extremely pleased with the quality and look of the flowers, and they did an AWESOME job for the brides/bridesmaid bouquets. They also did a great job for the Grooms/Groomsmen boutonniere's, as well as the mother of the bride/grandparents, etc. The colors and overall look of the flowers fit exactly the style that the bride was going after, and really went well with the wedding colors/theme.

The only down side was that we had ordered boutonniere's for our two program attendants, that didn't make it with the order. It wasn't by any means a deal breaker considering how pleased we were with everything else. We would recommend them to anyone else seeking a quality florist.

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Burkland's! We are an ex-military family and we would travel/live all over the world. Both my husband and I grew up and all of our family is located around the Effingham area. almost 4 years ago I had to plan my wedding and only had less than three months to do so. Burklands personally sat down with me and created a lovely fresh vision for my flowers and worked with my tight timeline. Anytime that we needed anything at a drop of a hat, I know that I can always call Burkland's to help me put together a thoughtful arrangement/gift to send to our local loved ones. Not only are their flowers fresh and beautiful, they also carry unique gift items that compliment their arrangements well. The women at their shop always go above and beyond to create special pieces. For example, my grandmother is a gardener- they told me that had little butterflies that glow in the dark that they can put in her arrangement to not only dress it up, but something she can long term. Their prices are great too, I trust them enough that when I call them I just give them a budget and they don't skimp out on anything, they spend my money to the fullest and I really appreciate that! This all comes from someone who isn't keen on buying flowers or getting flowers because most of the time I feel it's a waste of money (that is when they are being delivered by 1-800-Flowers and I have to cut and arrange the flowers myself and they die in less than a week and my husband would spend $60+ on them). So typically I am what you would call a "cheapskate" when it comes to flowers, but with Burkland's I can trust that they will send a meaningful gift with a personal touch as if I were in their shop picking it out myself! Great prices, selection, customer service, and local flower shop!

Our family has used Burkland’s Florist as our go-to Effingham Florist for decades. They are always superb...in every way. I want to thank Janet and the staff she credited for the stunningly beautiful arrangements they designed for my Mom’s Homegoing Celebration July 13, 2019. Janet was very patient and helpful to me in every step of the way, greatly easing my path. She even procured the gardenias I so wanted, as they were Mom’s favorite flower. I highly recommend Burklands for any occasion!
