Always great pizza, service, and value at one of the best locally-owned places in Effingham. The lunch special (well done) is fantastic.

This place is amazing!!! It was very busy but the staff remained friendly and worked diligently on each order. Very organized. We don't have anything like this in my home town unfortunately. The Italian sub was a bit salty but thick with meats. We drove over an hour to try this place....worth it.

This place is like an Effingham institution it is a mom and pop it's been around for a very very long time and it's still the same it's the only place in town where you can get a personal Pizza salad bar and a drink for $11 and it is the best pizza in town I don't care what anybody says and you can fight me on it

The salad bar is very similar to what used to be at the Pizza Man of Salem. The service was friendly and very, very quick. Great food, fast!

We stopped here to grab some food on our way home. I'm glad we did. The place was packed and they were super busy but it was worth the wait. The staff was friendly and the food was great. I'm glad we got 2 pizzas since we loved it so much. People must have thought we were starving we were eating so fast! Luckily I remembered to grab a photo.

Simply great & delicious thin crust pizza & fresh salad bar. Friendly atmosphere, quick service, great toppings offered (even anchovies!)

The staff are very friendly and customer service oriented.
The BBQ Pizza and Garlic cheese bread was good.

I placed an order for delivery on an (apparently) busy Friday night. My order was much later than I had been told it would be so I called the restaurant to ask for some sort of compensation towards my total bill. Unfortunately, as I was on the phone with the owner, the delivery driver showed up with our food and collected a cash payment from my nephew.

So, there was really no way for him to comp my bill at all now and I'm from Wisconsin so a gift card wouldn't have been any good to me. Once I explained all of this, the owner offered to come back to my hotel to give me $15 in cash as compensation. I never expected he would show up but
he did! Only like ten minutes later!

I know that was a long story, sorry 😂. Aside from the phenomenal job of meeting customer satisfaction, the food was great as well! I threatened to write a bad google review but the way this was handled was the best customer service I've ever received (especially for a delivery order). So I thought it was just as important to write a positive review because "The Pizza Man" deserves it 😊

The absolute best pizza you will ever have at a very fair price. Right now you can get 2 large 2 topping pizzas for just $28! It feeds 5 with lots of leftovers. Our favorite is the chicken bacon pizza with Buffalo sauce.

We were just passing through and wanted something sit down but quick, yummy and family friendly. We loved the pizza and the experience! Everyone was so friendly! Ordering was quick and food came out fast too! Definitely would recommend and we will be back if we come through this way again!

Excellent local old school pizza joint. Family run. Consistent. Fresh. Clean. Friendly. Everything is pretty much the same as it was when my wife grew up here 30 years ago.

Local eatery with a nice salad bar.. thin crust pizza cut in little squares.. I eat here often. The wait staff were amazing.

I love it here. The atmosphere In the fall with by the fireplace is cozy. My girlfriend and I come here once a week and love the salad bar and of course the pizza. The experience is always consistently great here. It is a comfortable small town pizaa place with tasty food!

Stayed in Effingham for the night in the tail end of a road trip. Stopped for pizza here since there were so many great reviews. Place was great! Service was quick and the pizza was good. Reminded me of my favorite pizza place at home. Definitely recommend.
