Pete's Fresh Market #7 - Calumet City

Thank you Pete's for making my family's Thanksgiving Day, Memorial .! I had no time to cook so I came to the cooked food/ hot Deli section. Each dish I chose was excellent .. especially the macaroni with the shrimp! Everything perfectly seasoned, not salty! Prices were reasonable, so thank you for rescuing my Holiday! 5 ***** Stars!

Pete’s has almost everything I need when it comes to groceries! And they have a lot of unique food / drink items or related items that you usually don’t find any place else in your regular chain grocery store. Pete’s Environment is always neat, clean and the item are always organized. Most of the time, the cashiers are always pleasant. I usually do not have to come in contact with any other employees because everything is clean and stacked all the time.

Pete's Fresh Market is one of My favorite places to shop be cause you can pick up a cooked meal and all of their meats are fresh. You can generally find what you need. Pete's is very very expensive & their produce section isn't what it used to be, choices are limited. Parking is frustrating especially for us seniors. Carts are rarely available in store.
If you want quality, come prepared to pay for it at Pete's 😉

Pete's has become my new go to place for fresh fruits and vegetables. You'll find any ingredient you need whether you want to cook Latin, Caribbean, Soul food, or something very American. The store offers a wide variety deli meats and cheeses, seafood, and meat. The store has good weekly specials on a variety of items. And affordable prices overall. And, you can't ignore prepared pizza, juicies, sandwiches, salads, and hot entrees. I picked up a lunch of jerk rice with shrimp, asparagus, and a sausage with peppers. Delicious!!

I get the grab an go lunches from here all the time loves the sandwiches mini pops an chips . They have a wide selection of lunch and dinner ready foods

Pete's Market is an amazing store. They have anything you can possibly want. Everything is perfectly arranged & the store is very clean. Love the food bar & bakery.

Fantastic selections on produces, meats and seafood. Store is always well stocked and clean. Employees are always attentive, helpful and provide customer services with a smile.

Warning: The buffet is addictive. The salads, cooked meals, and deserts are spectacular and prepared with flavor and pleasing to the eyes and more so to the tastebuds. The varieties are endless. I appreciate gloves and hand sanitizers are provided for handling food. My only complaint is a store is desperately needed on NWI as I drive from Indiana, but it is definitely worth the once a week trip.

Great produce at great prices. There's a wide assortment of meats, including sweet reads. There's also seasoned meats like chicken wings for those short on time.

Pete's has definitely up there standards. Store is so clean and organized,fresh fruit and all. And let's move to the buffet and the fresh cooked food they have. The fried catfish taste homemade,fried okra fresh salad you name it!

Love love the Pete's Fresh Markets because of the diverse foods , produce you can find there! I really go there for the fresh varieties of produce at decent prices. Today everything you touch has a BIG dollar sign attached. Nothing cost less so if you have to pay more for stuff you might as well go for variety and quality. They have a very nice display of fruit and vegetables as soon as you come in. Very very inviting I must say! And Pete's the place to go and at least see if what you looking for is there. Many of times when no other store has an item Pete's has it. So everybody go check out Pete's Fresh Market! It really is FRESH!!

All the fresh fruits and vegetables you can find, but also fresh squeezed orange juice, breads, fresh food prepared daily to take home and enjoy. The buffet! Flowers, groceries, dairy, meats.
There is just too much to name at great prices.

Now that I'm older I put more fruits and vegetables in my diet, they had a variety. I just love blueberry's and pears. Do people know that if the fruit has no seeds it wasn't grown from mother Earth. Watermelon don't have any seeds and it hard to find one that's sweet and juicy.
