Foxy's Ice Cream

First time at this ice cream shop and I am incredibly impressed!!!! I've never had much of a sweet tooth, but now I eternally crave Foxy's in Yorkville. We visited for a special event where we got to fill up our Stanley cups with ice cream, which turned into a fantastic introduction to this lovely shop. I got the Fat Elvis ice cream which is banana with peanut butter and chocolate. Looking forward to coming back in the future :) My friends live nearby and they say one nice thing to do in the warm season is to pick up some ice cream from Foxy's and walk down the Fox River!

Lots of options to select from. We tried the Zanzibar and Superman flavor, both tasted flavorful and fresh. There is a reason why place is always packed, wait time can be 20-25 mins if you visit during peak hour. I would highly recommend this place. Worth it. They have vegan options as well.

A nice ending to a fun day at the IL river boating. There was room to park a large trailer for a few min. And $5 no Hassel icecream cones was nice. The fun variety of icecream added to the enjoyment I'm hoping to go back to blow my diet again.

Nice little ice cream shop by a park and the river. Fast and friendly service and the kids enjoyed their ice cream treats! Great selection of flavors and ways to get your preferred ice cream, whether that be in a milkshake, cup, or cone. Reasonable prices and some seating outside. Also some nearby seating right across the parking lot at the pavilion. If you are in the area, it's worth stopping by for a treat after letting the kids run around at the park!

One of the many BEST ice cream places in Yorkville! Got the Worms 'N Dirt (Zanzibar) ice cream, and a bag of freeze dried Skittles. They were the BOMB! My dog also enjoyed the Doggie Treat!

Great ice cream! So very creamy and flavorful. They have lower sugar options that are delicious. It's now my must stop when I'm in town.

Top notch local ice cream joint. Plenty of options from scoop to soft serve ice cream. They have some food options, too. Nice benches and tables to sit on and eat your ice cream along the Fox River.

Great ice cream and they give you a very generous portion! Would suggest getting in a cup as it makes it easier to eat and enjoy it! Located nicely right along the river and parking is easy and plenty.

Super cute ice cream stop and they have soft serve!! Real soft serve. For those of you who love a classic twist, you know what I am talking about. Friendly staff and they even sell little milk bone ice cream sandwiches for your pup. Perfect spot along river.

One of the few local places where you can get REAL Superman ice cream and blue moon ice cream!! They have a lot of unique and hard to find flavors, as well as "visiting flavors" that are only offered for a little time. They also have your standard beverages such as water and canned sodas should the desire arise.

Foxy's is always gracious with showing up to school and team fundraisers when they aren't serving treats up at their location right next to the Fox River Dam.

With Riverfront Park located very close, as well as a couple of good local Yorkville restaurants, it's a perfect place to do dinner and ice cream with the kids, or cool off after playing at the park or after doing some of the river activities. The hours are a bit flexible during those shoulder seasons where we have those hot days in early spring, or those warm spells in late October where they'll announce temporary hours on those days via social media.

Definitely worth stopping by if you get the chance! Then you can argue with the rest of us on exactly what flavor Blue Moon really is!!!

This place was great! Their selection was good and the ice cream was even better. I love finding hometown places like this. They are true gems in the community.

Was visiting town and wanted to find a small, local ice cream shop. This was one of the first results. I decided to gamble and take the hour drive and I was not disappointed!!! The ice cream was delicious, the scoop was generous, the staff super friendly and the atmosphere was great!! I'm glad I chanced it.

Great ice cream shop right on the river. Beautiful scenery and tasty ice cream. Prices are fair and selection is big from soft serve to scoop to foxy flurries. They take credit card too

Different ice cream choices, staff is always pleasant and prices are more reasonable then others in the area. Our dogs love the pup treats too!
