Dave's Auto Repair

I reserve words like expert and "pro" for those that truly deserve it. Dave is beyond that - he is a wizard. I've been to him twice: 1) to have a defective stainless brake line re-flared and 2) to have a valve adjustment done on a 20 year old Honda.

The latter is the most recent work Dave has done for me. Not only did he get it right and button up the Pilot properly, he did it during the coldest week Chicagoland has had all year - sub zero. Anyone familiar with this job knows the complexity. And a perfectly fair price to boot.

I have been going to Dave's for many years. I move away and recently came back and I had a problem with my van and he was able to fit me in and got me back on the road again! He is by far the best mechanic around.

Dave is honest and trustworthy - everything you want with a mechanic. Brought company car there first for a second opinion, fixed only what needed to be fixed for less than half of what the first shop quoted. He even drove me back to work. Since then, I have brought my car and my wife's car there. I only wish I found his shop sooner.

This is a very very good place to go for honest work pretty much all types of cars. I was referred to this shop by a local tire repair shop because the other places I wanted to take my Porsche to wanted between $150 and $200 an hour just to diagnose the car. That is 100% dishonest way of doing business which is quite the opposite of this place which is very honest and very fair.

Dave has always done a great job! Family and friends have brought our cars there with different issues and he shoots it straight. Fantastic job is always done highly recommend!

This place is great ! I had an emergency tire situation at 7:30am and they took my car in, they messaged me with a solution and even picked up on other things my car needed that I was not aware off. I highly recommend this place, thank you Sean and Dave for the help !
