LOVE THIS PLACE… you have to try it!!!!!!
Owner is hands down the best human(she literally radiates sunshine), service is incredible, food is all homemade, fresh and delicious.
I’m vegetarian and she made incredible grilled cactus veggie tacos for me. My table mates all ate chicken, beef, shrimp and loves their dishes as well.

This tiny gem of McHenry has amazing prices with great food and an extremely friendly staff. They even donated to my cousins cancer fight. I highly recommend checking them out. They even have a take out family chicken dinner special! No need to make a meal at home to have a true home cooked meal 🥘

🌵 My first review of Patroons was a very flavor-able. The food is authentic. And on this review I wish to recommend the Pollo Asada with the mild sauce. It's delicious and the meal made my day. Enjoy the menu at Patroons.

Usually order for delivery. Food is fantastic. For delivery, the orders are packed really well by wrapping the containers in plastic wrap to avoid spills. Never had a disappointing experience over the last year or so of ordering from The Patroons.

My husband and I have ordered online 2-3 times now and each time has been fantastic. Our go to is their taco salad ($11.99) and chimichanga dinner ($11.99). Both pork because it’s just the best. You have the option to add extra guacamole/sour cream for $1.00. The chimichanga dinner comes with extra spicy sauces on the side and they add a nice kick! The rice and beans are also very yummy. The portion sizes are massive which I will never get used to. I’ve never had horchata prior to this place but I would say it is a must try - love it!

Absolutely delicious. Maria is the best. The salsa was a bit spicy for me and she made a special salsa without spice and it was delicious. True Mexican style. Quesadilla was delicious also. Traditional rice and beans. Was a awesome authentic dinner.

Wow! So fresh and yummy! I'm impressed. Called in an order as I drove through town headed back to WI. Was ready quick and the food tasted amazing!
Chips are homemade and not greasy. Salsa was green and perfectly spicy. Restaurant was clean and adorable on the inside.

Ordered through DoorDash for six people, so quite a bit of food. Food arrived quickly and nicely packaged. Everyone raved about how good everything was. Burritos, flautas, sopes were all phenomenal.Also got tamales but didn’t get to eat them yet because we are all so full, portions are huge! Definitely our new “go to” for Mexican cuisine!

Awesome little restaurant with the sweetest lady (I'm assuming the owner) they serve chips and a delicious green salsa (pictured) made from jalapenos. I normally don't eat spicy food but I could not stop eating this green salsa! It has the most delicious flavor! Hubby got the half chicken dinner (pictured) and I got a chicken quesadilla. Don't let the small store front/building detour you from trying this place. TRY IT ANYWAY! IT IS WORTH IT!!

This restaurant is excellent! I wish I had come here long time ago. By far this is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten in any state I've been to! It's to die for, OMG! Highly recommend! The rice had the best flavor and the homemade refried beans were made with pork to boot!

The food is outstanding! I normally get their whole spicy chicken dinner which feeds 3-4. It is very spicy but they also have the mild choice! Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. I have had other food choices and loved it all. Salsas are authentic and taste great. Highly recommend. Only thing that I am not a huge fan of is the volume of the music during the day. It is a small restaurant and sometimes the music is too loud where you cant hear yourself talk.

This place is awesome. 10/10 food. 10/10 hospitality. 10/10 price. My favorite place for homemade food by far. They make everything with love. Try their tacos and horchatas and you won’t be disappointed.

A tiny little family owned restaurant. The atmosphere is comfy and quaint, the people are all very very nice and the food is decently priced. It is easily the best Mexican food I've ever had, the flautas were AMAZING. I was really impressed. I'm not even a huge fan of Mexican food, but i will definitely be back! great people.

The flautas was DELICIOUS even after taking them to-go. They stayed crispy and crunchy, the chicken was still tender and not dried out inside. Beans and rice were amazing as well. Also, one of my favorite guacamole’s around! I definitely found my new go to for Mexican food.
