Kitchen Brigade/Euro Inspired

The last time I was here I forgot to post a review but I remembered being impressed and enjoying my meal. This visit was no different. The side salad is so amazing with only one delicious dressing and chunks of pork belly. Best salad in the QC hands down. I had the chicken and grits which was super delicious and beautifully presented. Husband really liked his pork ribeye sandwich. The menu is not huge like other top restaurants in the area but who cares when everything is so good. Some items rotate I believe and they have a special too. It's kinda nice to eat high end food in a casual bar setting.

I’ve come here twice , and every single bite has blown me away. Not every place in the QC has left me with surpassed expectations. The burger may be the best I’ve tried in my life. Everything is fresh made from scratch. The chef told us he doesn’t have a freezer back there! I cannot recommend this place enough. I also appreciate the non-alcoholic beer options!

Kitchen Brigade is located INSIDE of Stompbox Brewing. They are a separate business on location. They provide a European style cuisine.

The staff was amazing with prompt service. They are very courteous and polite. I had a chance to speak with the manager and learned more about the cuisine.

The food served here is mostly locally sourced. I heard the beef for 1 of the dishes was sourced in Western Iowa. However the rest is as close to local as you can get! Their breads are made in a bakery located behind the restraunt. You can't get much more locally sourced than that!

During my visit to Stompbox Brewing my wife and I chose to try their European based menu. I ordered the Iberian Nachos based off of the description that our waitress provided. It was a hit! Braised beef with fried tomatoes, sour cream, lettuce and cheese. I ordered onions on the side. I've never tasted nachos like this before. It's a definite must have when they offer them. It was an Easter Special.

My wife and I also had a charcuterie tray of meat, cheese, olives and the locally sourced bread. Amazing!!

Our experience was so Amazing that my wife ordered dessert and I ordered another entre to take home.

We ordered 2 different desserts. The 1st was a blueberry coffee cake crepe. It had a simple syrup drizzled on made with coffee. The crumble was dribbled on top of the blueberries on the crepe. The crepe was so light and fluffy! I highly recommend trying this!

The second, my wife's favorite, was a carrot cake made fresh daily on site. It was rich and flavorful. This is another wonderful dessert!

I don’t know who came up with this monstrosity, but I both love and hate you at the same time. I added a salad to feel better about myself; which was also delicious. I had no desire to stop in Iowa on my move to Cali but am so glad I did. The beers and staff were legit too.

Some of the best cravable food in Davenport! Not a bad choice on the menu. Service is excellent too.

When I tell you this was one of the best salads I have had, I am not lying. I ordered the Brigade Salad and added chicken. The chicken was so moist (even though I HATE that word) and the dressing was scrumptious. The bits of bacon were huge and so good. I would eat this salad every day. Olivia, our waitress was very courteous and helpful. I can't wait to eat there again!

The shishito pepper shareable and olives were absolutely, unexpectedly delicious. The wings were huge, plated artfully, and perfectly cooked. The pork sandwich was tender and flavorful. I highly recommend this menu! The chefs are clearly experienced and use quality ingredients.

Really enjoyed kitchen brigade and stompbox brewery. Really cool that 2 businesses can work well together. THE Burger is a must. It was very juicy and the fries were awesome. Will return for sure

We dined at Kitchen Brigade tonight. We were delighted! We were looking for lighter fare. We ordered the Brigade Salad and the Chips & Dips. The salad was so good. Big enough to share (which is what we like to do) and utterly delicious. It had just the right amount of their house-made garlic dressing, bacon, and tomatoes. The Chips & Dips are not your usual fare. A variety of roasted veggies with fried pita chips and other crispy morsels to dip into fresh queso with spicy chorizo. We don't usually order dessert, but tonight's special of Pots de Creme was irresistible. It was just sweet enough without being too much. We will highly recommend Kitchen Brigade. Our waitress, Olivia, was helpful and informative, but also appreciative of our business, and very nice!

Also would like to say the beer at Stompbox Brewery was very good and was a wonderful accompaniment to the meal. Overall, a fantastic experience!

the pork tomahawk with the brown butter speatzels was exceptional! the roasted veggies was also delicious! we had a nice chat with the Chef. really nice people, really good food!

We had the burger and wings. Both were excellent. Juicy burger and the bun was delicious. The fries are fantastic perfect crispness. The wings have the perfect spice. The only oddity is they and stompbox are two different businesses and so you have to manage two tabs, but that’s not a big deal.

The food at the Kitchen Brigade is absolutely phenomenal. Chef Chad is making some of the best food in the QC tucked in the kitchen at Stompbox. We had the chicken and grits, olives and feta and chips. The chicken was delicious, cheesy, spicy and enormous. The feta and olives were briny, salty and creamy with feta cheese whipped underneath. The chip plate was out of this world with all kinds of delicious options for dipping. This is our new favorite place to dine.

Had the Brigade Salad with chicken which was delicious! My husband had the pork sandwich, which was as good as advertised. Service was prompt and efficient.

Stopped here on a whim from out of town and we are so so glad we did. The food was so incredible and different. The veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever had! Our service was super great and we loved that we also got to pair our food with great craft beer!

Chicken and cheese grits were quite good. Went on a Thursday night and it didn't feel too much like a bar.

A few weeks ago, some friends of mine originally from the area were back in town and we chose the Stompbox Brewing/Kitchen Brigade space to sit down and catch up. I'd driven by the space countless times on the way down to the Farmer's Market over the spring and summer months but hadn't actually stopped in before.

After our visit, I can confidently say I'm glad we chose this space to catch up. Parking was super easy - free parking lots are both immediately adjacent to the space and right across River Drive. The space itself is really cozy and, if I may use the word, intimate. It's really not that large at all, has a fairly small bar area, and the seating is quite varied. There's a choice of larger high-top tables, bar seating, and a few booths.

When we arrived, the server was quick to get our drink orders and menus. I wasn't aware of the French/German theme of the menu, but everything we ordered between the three of us was quite tasty. My friends had spaetzel and a burger, I just munched on some frittes (fried potato strips). I definitely need to stop back here for a full meal at some point in the future!

I'm looking forward to returning here sometime in the future, perhaps on the way to or returning from the Freight House Farmer's Market in a few months. This really is a great space with both good drinks and unique food. Thanks for being a great part of downtown Davenport Kitchen Brigade!

Chad and his staff are delightful and tentative. The food at Kitchen Brigade is nothing like the QC has had before and absolutely scrumptious and delectable. Looking for a date night? Guys or girls night out? Solo dinner? No matter what, this is the place to be. 10/10. Yum!!

Just ate here tonight for dinner. There is only one word to describe the experience.. Wow. This place is a hidden gem and my wife and I have been meaning to try it since they opened and glad we finally got to. Each dish we had was prepared perfectly, the veggies and dips appetizer was presented in a appealing format with a great cheese and spread for veggies and you can tell the produce was fresh and locally sourced. We both had the burger and we agreed it was one of the best burgers we have ever had. For dessert we got the apple crepe. This was not only the best crepe I have ever had but also one of the best desserts I have ever had. I don’t write reviews like this often and we have been to some of the best restaurants in the country, this is on par with something you would find from a Michelin chef in a big city. We are lucky to have a chef like chef Chad in the QC area. We will be returning !

This place is a hidden gem in the QC. We ordered the olives, burger, and pork schnitzel. Everything was wonderful, but the texture and flavor of the schnitzel was something special. Ordering drinks and food on separate tabs was a non-issue, and both the bar and table service were lovely. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Food quality and flavor are top notch! And the music selection is + :)
