I love walking by the shop and checking out the window. The back of the place has some of the most wonderful selection of vintage sci-fi and 80’s fantasy novels. The basement is a time warp. Be prepared to lose at least an hour wandering through it all. Best of all it’s so affordable.

Amazing secondhand bookstore in downtown Davenport. No seating - only space for thousands and thousands of books, movies, and records. Homemade tags organize by genre. Accepts cash and card. Could have spent all day here/ had to drag my partner out as they were closing. Will definitely be back.

Incredible book store. Very mazelike, with shelves everywhere, a back room, and a basement with a second maze of books/records/magazines/maps. If you love books, you can get happily lost in there. Super nice and helpful employees. I will say for any wheelchair users etc, I wouldn’t consider it the most accessible as the aisles are fairly narrow.

I love the selection of books, they're not in alphabetical order our number system, So you have to go looking the book you want, But that the funny of a book store, You can get lost for hours in the store. So definitely worth checking out.

Places like this don't get too much attention nowadays- and that's too bad. This place is truly great. You'll find something for everyone. I usually find myself frustrated with bookstores because most of what I like (Colonial African history) isn't considered popular and so is rarely carried. This place had several pieces on the subject, and it was like a treasure hunt to find them. Please, please, please give this store your business, we cannot let it close and give the leviathan of Amazon another victory.

This bookstore is an absolute dream if you are a bookish person. They have have books from floor to ceiling that are very well organized. They have every genre and then some! Carter helped me find two books that I have been searching for online for months...two minutes later and he had both books in hand!! The whole experience was amazing and I will be visiting again. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I really like this store. They have a massive selection of titles, covering every imaginable category of books. The owner is extremely helpful and pleasant. In this age of impersonal online shopping, this bookstore is a welcome throwback to the way book-hunting was meant to be.

Source Bookstore is the greatest used bookstore I have ever entered, and I've been in alot of book stores. Super deep collections, just amazing. What a treasure!!

This store has it all! Over 80 years of continuous book sales and thousands of titles in every conceivable genre. Fiction, Nonfiction, paperbacks, hardcovers, antique books, periodicals, CDs, Vinyl Albums & DVDs. You could spend a month in this store and still not discover all it has to offer! Highly recommended for book junkies of all ages.

Wonderful, huge, bookstore in a hundred-year-old building. They've been there for over, I think, 60 years. Terrific place to shop for used books! My husband and I left the store with a huge bag full of books. Also, great salespeople and super customer service.

Under new ownership. It was wonderful how helpful and fun he was to talk to. A lot of history here and he seems excited to keep prolonging the tradition of the Store. A lot of unique finds here and always come home with something intereating.

This place has tons and tons of books. Fantastic prices and helpful owners. The basement has lots of bargains and they also have a lot of records for sale. The best ones are on the front counter but there are gems in the basement as well!
