The wait time to get in was long, but definitely worth it! After we were seated we waited less than 10 minutes to receive and order our food and drinks. We had the southwest skillet, chicken & waffles, mimosa flight, and strawberry lemonade. The staff were very friendly; our server was on top of filling our drinks. Everything was delicious and we left with the perfect buzz to start our New Years Eve🎊

First time here, and won't be the last! Such a great breakfast stop!

The outdoor deck overlooking the river was the perfect spot for breakfast. The staff was great, good was amazing & you can't beat the atmosphere. I high lol y recommend the sweet potato tots!

I’m a word, immaculate.
First visit was for a Brunch Burger and Chicken n Biscuit. In the words of one coworker, “true that’s a 1/2lb burger, mmm mmm, and can we go back for lunch.” The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the biscuits are something to write home about. Amazing. It left multiple grown men speechless.

So wonderful! Cool vibes, great food and drinks, great staff.
Been there 3 times and had Tyler each time and he’s great! He’s so fun and genuinely wants you to have a good experience.
They can get very busy so expect a wait.

Great experience. Amazing food, large portions, decent prices, awesome environment. Our waitress Tila was amazing. Ask for her! Other things to note, parking was super convenient, the couches and chairs in the downstairs waiting area are super comfortable with video games and things to look at and purchase as well as bathrooms were super clean and neat.

Menu items pictured include Southwest Skillet with blueberry pancakes, biscuits and gravy, the Denver Skillet with chocolate chip pancakes and the sweet potato skillet. All four of these dishes were 10 out of 10 stars. Can't wait to stop in again to try more things off the menu.

In my professional opinion, this is the best place on the Iowa side of the Quad Cities to get breakfast and brunch.

We were in town for an appointment & looking for breakfast afterwards. I took to google & picked a place that had good reviews. LoL We were greeted with enthusiasm as we stepped off of the elevator! The atmosphere & staff were both awesome! The food was great & there was a lot of it! We ordered the southwest skillet w/blueberry pancake & mad meat skillet w/blueberry pancake. The portions were huge! We both had enough to take home for another meal. Definitely a place we will return to!

This place is AMAZING. We are passing through the area and wanted to grab breakfast and found this place by the river.

The food is so delicious. It is so flavorful. I never had chicken and biscuits before, but figured I should try something new. I was very impressed. Great flavors and excellent portion. My boyfriend has never finished a breakfast and his plate was clean. He loved the mad meat skillet. Excellent color, portion, taste, everything.

Service was out of this world. Super personable and cheerful waitress. She definitely helped us have a great experience. Owner came by to say hello and check everything was okay.

Clean place with interesting and unique decor. Joyful music. I just loved everything about it and wish I lived closer or could move it to my neighborhood.

The ambience is great, the outdoor upper deck has a great view of the river and ample shade, and the wait staff was excellent. We had a waiter named Tyler and I would highly recommend requesting to be seated in his section if he is working. He was personable, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. We came for breakfast and were not disappointed! I had the Mad Meat Skillet and my husband had the Create Your Own Omelette (sausage, ham, and cheddar). The pancakes as a side was excellent, they had a hint of vanilla and were good enough to eat without syrup, and the potatoes were tasty! No salt or pepper was needed! Coffee was medium roast so probably a fan favorite for most. If we come through Davenport again, I would eat here again! Historical setting, eclectic, and with a great staff, river view, and an excellent menu!

Best service!!! You will walk out with new friends, a full belly and a great attitude for the rest of the day. Food is phenomenal (get the GF pancakes) and big portions also. Best breakfast in the Quad Cities. Mimosas on Sundays!
Tyler is the BEST!!

The Diner is in my top 5 favorite places to eat in the Quad Cities. The food has always been outstanding, from the fried pickles to the country fried steak. The atmosphere is pretty unique and the staff is extremely friendly! If you get a chance to go, ask for Elissa as your server (she's hilarious).

On my most recent visit they unfortunately took fried pickles off the menu. However, there's a new Nashville Hot cheese curd option that is just as amazing as their pickles were!

The biscuits and gravy as been consistently great every single time, I normally get the "Country Fried B&G". Additionally, the "Brunch Burger" is a very solid choice if you're looking for a burger! Portions are medium-large and prices are reasonable especially considering the quality and consistency.

Parking can be found on the south side of the building along with an elevator entrance since the restaurant is located on the second floor.

Excellent food and service! Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been delicious. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. A very cute and cozy restaurant. All these ingredients combined makes for the perfect place to have a breakfast or lunch.

This was the 2nd time we've eaten at The Dinner. Breakfast was great for everyone. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable. There is a full bar should you want a Bloody Mary or Mimosa.

Absolutely best brunch spot in Davenport! We drove 40 miles and were not disappointed. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the prices were on point. Highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a fun and enjoyable experience.

We came here for breakfast with a group of friends and the place is really fun and different. Our favorite part was the collection of different and unique mugs and cups. I had the vegetarian breakfast tacos and my husband had the chicken and biscuits. His was way too spicy but delicious and mine was perfect, especially with the salsa verde. We both had a bloody Mary and it was the best we ever had. It did take a long time to get our food but there were 9 of us so I wouldn't expect any different. I would absolutely come here again just for the vibes and unique menu options.

Awesome place that we discovered this morning. Staff was so on it, so friendly and so just like home. Huge portions. Actually more than enough for breakfast again tommorow in our room. Denver omlete fully loaded and Biscuits with scrambled eggs and chicken fried steak smothered with gravy over flowing on top. Oh my so good. Decor was so down memory lane. Oh and the outside deck seating with the river view would have been an option except for the rain today The Diner is upstairs with both stairs or an elevator to get there...

Me and my wife stopped to see a friend and, on our way out stopped in to have breakfast. We were greeted with enthusiasm. I oreder the Mad Meat Biscuits N Gravy and my wife ordered Mama's Whiskey Business Waffles. I am a chef and have a hard time shutting it off when I go out to eat. My over medium eggs were cooked to perfection. Our food was really good and the atmosphere was fabulous! You could tell they had fun doing thier job!! Do they forget to KISS THE COOK!!!!

Super fun place, one of the best dining atmospheres in downtown. Amazing view of the river and outdoor seating in the summer.

The staff and the food is incredible! The kids menu burger is gigantic :-)
