Millhurst Ale House

Our waitress was so good! She refilled all our drinks without asking. Excellent service! The food was delicious! 😋 I had the BBQ hamburger-the shreaded beef and bacon 🥓 was great together. My whole family loved the experience.

First time visitor. Our food was hot fast and delicious! Fair prices. We had a party of 9 and the staff was extremely nice with a great sense of humor and we had great service as well. The waitress was very patient and had much knowledge of the menu. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms are beautiful... for a bathroom. I will definitely be back.

My brothers and I visited recently to try their burgers at the recommendation of some local friends. Not only were we pleasantly surprised, we all agreed their burgers were some of the best we had ever had. Perfectly cooked and amazingly seasoned, they were juicy and absolutely delicious - right down to the outstanding bun. I can also rave about their burnt-ends sandwich - so good. Love this place!

We were told by a friend that they had recently made some changes so figured we would give it a shot,....great to be able to sit outside these days. Casual but a very very nice casual.
we sat on the covered patio, ..... great service by Ashley, kept the glasses full but didn't hover around !!
our son had the fish tacos, very good & very fresh tasting...I had the blue cheese burger, ..... probably the best , or close to the best burger I have ever had any where !!! wife had the chicken salad , excellent !
All in all great experience, it's a 20+ Minutes drive for us, but I'll probably be back again next week, it's worth the drive.

Absolutely amazing! Our server was so nice. The service is fast and the food is out of this world! I had the rib eye steak and my boyfriend had the prime rib. Both cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. It's my new favorite!

Great place. Great food NO DOUBT! Homemade soups and deserts. Yummy! Try the Creme Brulee, a fantastic huge portion.

My favorite place, food is always good and server's are fantastic. The only complaint would be the french onion soup is awesome, but the cheese is never melted enough. Other than that it's a 5 star!!

After reading some of the previous reviews, we were hesitant to stop but we did. Grateful we didn’t listen and decided to take a chance. The food was good and reasonably priced. Our server was attentive. Our food was good. We were overall pleased with our experience.

We had a good time at Millhurst! The food was good, the service was good, and Donna, the owner is so kind and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The staff practiced Covid19 protocol, and we were spread out nicely. Our party had New York Strip, Ribeye, the Porkchops, and the battered cod. We were all pleased with the taste and portion size. Good experience for all.

Great food, and beer selection! Their BBQ options are fantastic, especially the Burnt Ends sandwich, Voodoo BBQ wrap and Pulled Pork sandwich. Their fries are battered and crispy, if you haven't already gone for the tots. They have carry-out and fairly Covid-safe dining, indoors and outdoors, too.

It was our 2nd time there and let me tell you! This place DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!! We will definitely be back! Great atmosphere. AMAZING food. Rich beer selection and super friendly service. It's not close home for us, but we definitely be back. Don't hesitate, stop by and give them a try if you haven't already. 👍👌

Sat at the bar for a beer and some appetizers. The bartender was very pleasant with us. The interior of the restaurant is what you'd expect from an ale house, with nothing really setting it apart from others. Had an order of fries and I highly recommend their house BBQ sauce, I like BBQ sauce and I really enjoyed this one for some reason.

Amazing fancy atmosphere. It is a fancy place you can go to in casual clothes. Very nice and inviting yet comfortable. They have excellent food and a great staff that welcomes your right away. You get so much food that you will feel like your about to explode and it is very reasonable on pricing. Great place. I give them 5 stars! You should check them out if you haven't been here before I think everyone will love this place.

This was my first time eating at Millhurst Ale House. I was taking a friend out to lunch, I don't live in the area, so I asked a local where to go for a good affordable meal. They recommend Millhurst Ale House. There is a wide variety of food choices on the menu for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. I had the mahi tacos with rice while my friend had the soup (tomato) and sandwich (chicken salad). Both were delicious. For those who enjoy spirits there is a nice selection of ale. Our meal including (non-alcoholic) drinks was $31.50. The wait staff were very friendly and quick to take our orders and refill our drinks. My friend needs to use a walker and they were very accomadating in seating us at a table that suited both of our needs. Overall a nice, clean (including the restrooms) place to eat with good food and affordable prices. Next time I'm in Yorkville, I will definitely stop in again and order the eggplant salad!!

The server, Clay, was a very nice young man. The food was very good. Spinach dip and mushroom soup was fantastic and the rest of the staff was friendly. Looking forward to going back to try the clam chowder.

First time here. Been wanting to come here for a long time and finally had the time to do it. Our waitress was amazing and helped my family the entire visit. We had such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be making this a regular monday thing.

Fantastic. You always get what you order for a reasonable price. Great food, great atmosphere. Linda is the best waitress I've ever seen, she always has a smile on her face and is so kind and polite, always more than happy to accommodate and help people

Excellent fish and chips! All our meals were great. Service was great, as well. The soup was delish, and I didn't even think I liked stuffed pepper soup!!

Great family restaurant. A hidden gem in yorkville. Prices are very reasonable. Intimating due to the exterior. Place looks expensive or high end yet it is not. Down to earth prices. Mom dad bring the kids. Great for family get togethers. Great burgers!

My wife and I went out for dinner and a movie, watched Lucy then decided to try out Millhurst for the first time. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and Spicy Cavatappi pasta, both with shrimp. Our waitress was awesome, great service! The Fettuccine probably could have used a bit more garlic and Parmesan but it was tasty.....the Cavatappi was very salty and I let our waitress know. She allowed me to change my order and was very apologetic. I give these guys 5 stars simply on the customer service. I would stay away from the Cavatappi but the food was great otherwise. Corn Chowder was delicious.
