Crete Park District - Willard Wood Park Center

Large park with all the amenities for all age groups. Great open area for family gatherings. I really like this park.

Very nice place to gather with friends and enjoy nature. We enjoyed a baby shower there and were able to be sheltered in case of bad weather and there was also a spot to cook. This is a nice place to gather outdoors with your friends. I would highly recommend this for birthday parties or showers. There is a playground for children it is the perfect venue.

We had a great time having a baby shower at the park. Everyone was professional and helpful. The place was spacious and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a place that is roomy and allows you to bring in your own food and create your space the way you want, give them a call.

Had a wedding reception there on Saturday night. Ten tables used with 10 chairs provided eating space for 100. And still left room for dancing up front. Nice venue for a small group function. Has a kitchen, clean restrooms, clean and good lighting inside.

Highly recommend using Crete Park for your next event. We hosted a baby shower and the staff was very friendly and professional. We fully read and understood the terms of the contract, so ran into no issues or misunderstandings. Whenever we needed anything, we just asked staff and they were very helpful and accommodating.

Grew up visiting this park almost every other day. I'm very happy to see both the staff who maintain the park and the people who visit, keep it in good condition.

The staff that runs the park on 1st n Main is excellent. They love their jobs, they are friendly almost like family.
We don't live in the district but my family participates in a lot of activities at this park.

Very peaceful and clean park to bring your little ones and have a nice time. They also have a nice dinning area for you to bring food and maybe have a small family reunion.

Crete Park District is truly my home away from home. The staff is wonderful and many new relationships have formed here for both the girls and I. My kids love the ballet and soccer programs and look forward to trying out some of the other wonderful options they offer here. I couldn't be more happy with our Park District and my extended family!!! It's truly the heart of the community! Also, the rental prices of the facilities are great! I've priced other area's community centers and Crete Park District truly surpasses any other with the clean environment and the cost. I am soooooo looking forward to our new building which will house our fitness classes and our dance programs including Miss Teresa's FABULOUS ballet program! The new building is CRETE PARK ON MAIN....Come check us out!!!

We love Crete Park District! Decades ago, I took many classes here as a kid. I don't think I've ever been so impressed as I am now, though. The clever drop off kits and virtual programs they're coming up with for kids, adults, and families during the covid-19 pandemic are simply amazing!

Big and fairly clean park

I like walking around Crete park to get my pokeballs back up. Haha it's a nice place with a few pavilions and a couple little place places, with swings. You see people walk their dogs and it has a tennis court.

A great place for kids. Nice park has shelters. Swings and other sports you can do!

The hall for the Crete Park District was very nice n clean. The employee was very helpful. I enjoyed the choice for our gathering.

Beautiful, shady spot, can find a quiet place to sit, even when the swings and playground equipment is full of kids playing.

My daughter rented area for sweet 16 party. Everything went great. I loved it. I would recommend renting this for any occasion

Great place to rent for parties, get togethers, reunions, and much more. It is very clean, has a kitchen also that's very large.

This is a great place to throw a event!! VERY SPACIOUS AND CLEAN WITH A VERY COUNTRY AND QUIET SETTING!! NO ONE FROM THE OFFICE CHECKING UP ON U OR BOTHERING U. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT ALL BUT WE STILL HAD FUN.SOMETIMES ALCOHOL DESTROY A BEAUTIFUL SETRING SO I UNDERSTAND.ALL IN ALL WONDERFUL PLACE.ALSO U HAVE TO CLEAN UP UR OWN MESS AND REPLACE EVERTHING THE WAY U FOUND IT.

Pat and Therese do an amazing job. This I'd a great park district and I enjoy each and every time I get to go there.
