Crete resident here! I work at the local post office here in crete and today after my shift I decided to stop and get a cold drink as it was extremely hot outside. As I entered the building the sign said open and doors were unlocked so I assumed they were open for business. I even passed by a lady who appeared to be waiting on customers. As I continued through the building I found a bar top where I figured I could get something to drink, however, there was no one inside and lights were turned off. Because the door was open and and the sign said open I figured someone would be coming shortly and that I should wait. I hadn’t been inside 5min before I was rudely approached and forced to leave by the building leaser. While the sign clearly says open she claims that It was not. She tried to force me through a back exit and I let her know that I’d be leaving through the front on the Main Street where I can be seen. I continued to wait on a bench outside of the property to which said owner followed me and harassed me outside of the property. I am a young African American woman who has lived in crete for the last 9 years and have served as a member in this community for the last year. (Working at the local post office) I do not appreciate being treated this rudely by local business owners! Especially when I am voluntarily trying to spend my money here. I will not be returning!

Submitted an application through FB. I was told "thank you for your application but we are looking for someone with experience" I do have experience even though I've never had my first "real job". How is anyone going to get a job without having experience prior? I'll tell you how! Someone has to be willing to give a person a chance to obtain some experience. I have worked for my mother since the age of 11 with packing and handling (shipping), inventory stock, replying to customers on Etsy, ect. I have that listed as my experience but apparently I don't have any experience?

First time at this store. The set up is nice with all the candy however the few pièces of candy I purchased were stell not fresh. I got about 6pcs of different candy spent over $3
