I can't say enough about Rudy. He has the Customer Service attitude we miss dearly. If he doesn't carry what you are looking for, let him know and he will go out of his way to get it. A true Gem. Hoping his business model inspires others in this area so we have fewer empty store fronts. All this increased traffic on 176 in the evenings? We need more well run businesses that actually care about the customer like this business does. Get our country BACK.

Love going into this establishment. From alcohol to an array of smoke items too please the wandering soul. The owner Rudy is always a pleasant spirit. Great family style customer service with a man that not only is polite but is able to be silly and smile with his customers. I will definitely keep coming back!

I always come here and feel like part of their family. I am always treated so well, and the owner is very knowledgeable and gentlemen. Helps me with all my wine & tobacco selection. He always orders stuff I need and I am glad I live close to this shop and meet my friends.

Rudy always helps out my boyfriend and I, we usually stop in a few times a week and he always gives great recommendations!! We stopped in last night to grab a new pod system which unfortunately came without the coils when it should’ve came with two but when we came back in he gave us a replacement system with the coils included no problem! Great customer service all around.

I posted a review a couple months ago about Buddy's and it was a positive one. I am writing another one to say how amazing Buddy's is. It is always neat and organized, has a wide selection of smoke, vape and liquor products. It has mixers and wraps as well as a fridge filled with liquors that are chilled for those nights when you need a bottle fast and you want it cold. On top of all of that the customer service by Rudy is just unmatched. He is willing to order products to the store if you ask him and he treats regulars and new comers with the utmost respect. I think Buddy's will be around for a long time to come in Island Lake.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Buddy’s is your perfect small town gem. Not only does it have all the liquor, vape, soda, smoke shop essentials… but if Rudy doesn’t have it, he will go out of his way to make sure it is there for you the next time you visit.

I went there and was amazed at the selection of glassware in this shop. The guy behind the counter was incredibly knowledgeable and super nice. His name was Rudy. Be sure and ask for him when you come in to buy all your smoking accessories in the future. This place is AWESOME !!!

Every time i come into the store i am impressed with each employee and great customer service. They make me feel so welcome and comfortable since the day i walked in. Their selection of glass, drinks, and just a variety of everything you need. I can honestly say this is the only place i will go when i am in need of their specialty of goods. This place is amazing.
