Gina's Teardrop Cafe

Excellent food. Everything looks and tastes a little better than I'm used to getting elsewhere. Service is warm and personal. They treat ya like they know ya. If you get the banana split waffle, I reccomend four spoons. It's Huge!

Gina's Teardrop Cafe has become our Saturday breakfast out place. The menu choices are great, the food is served quick, (and more important hot) , and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

They also honor veterans on the last Monday of each month between 6:30AM until 8AM with a free breakfast. I have not taken advantage of this yet, but I appreciate and patronize any business that recognizes those who served.

Delicious! Very welcoming and friendly staff! My waiter was so nice. Food came out fast! Portions are big! The restaurant itself is very comfy and clean.

2nd time at restaurant. Again, everything was perfect. Food homemade tasty and a large number of selections are available. Large serving sizes for each meal ordered allowed for plenty of take-home boxes. Staff was very helpful and took very good care to make sure our needs met.

I have been to the Teardrop twice. Each time I felt welcome and the staff were extremely friendly. The coffee was very good. The food was excellent and delivered hot and quickly. Even our used plates were removed almost immediately after we finished our meal. The prices are good. Our server was extremely attentive to our needs. No wonder there are so many regulars at Gina's. You are made to feel at home.

So I made the mistake of accidentally forgetting to take the pictures FIRST-we were so hungry and the food was really good! The only complaint was our waitress was kind of MIA and the crunchy French toast wasn’t all that crunchy. Great place! Super cute. Wasn’t a long wait to sit down at all.

Breakfast was delicious. My kids loved it, the service was great. The food came out so fast the kids didn't have a chance to get crazy. We will definitely be back!!

Our first visit. Service super friendly. Quick and with a smile. Food is outstanding. Plenty of vegetarian options and even gluten free toast.

A wonderful little spot that you might drive right by, in an otherwise ordinary-looking strip mall. New Lenox has been, for decades since its founding, the “Home of Proud Americans“, and this place oozes patriotic charm. From the monthly free veterans breakfasts to beautifully woodworked American flag artwork for sale on the walls, it instantly feels like home.

I ordered the teardrop skillet, which is a plate of biscuits and gravy with a meat skillet dumped on top of it… bacon, sausage, you name it it’s in there! Should have brought my wife so I had somebody to share with ha ha. Everything was amazing, and I will definitely be going back!

I absolutely love this place. Down to earth people make you feel welcomed and special. Gina and her husband Ken are just adorable together. The food is delicious and great portion sizes for the right price. Took my daughter here for her first time she ordered a bacon cheeseburger the size of her head lol which then came with fries and soup needless to say she had lunch and dinner. A family fav. Is also their hot chocolate omg to die for.
