From start to finish exceptional service. On time for appointments and for job schedule. Great communication. I felt reassured with the professionalism of everyone involved. I had older kitchen cabinets refaced and also added on to the kitchen with pantries and island. The outcome is impressive and just beautiful. David worked with me on options and the outcome was beautiful Amish made cream colored cabinetry for about the same price as big box stores cabinets. Brad managed the job thoroughly from start to finish and was always available for questions. Mike and Alex were obviously skilled installers who treated my family and my home with respect and who were just a pleasure to meet. This project exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend that you check them out if a new or remodeled kitchen is in your plans. Love my new kitchen!!

My husband and I were both tired of our kitchen looking dated and not being as functional as we wanted. After seeing several commercials for Wood Front Kitchens, we finally decided to call to make an appointment. At the initial visit, Brad listened to our "wish list" and helped us understand the process. Our own vision of what the kitchen could become was rather limited, but we knew that we wanted it to feel more open and not just look like a newer version of the same old kitchen. Brad put a lot of thought and preparation into the design, offering ideas and suggestions while always listening to our input. We truly could not have asked for a nicer person to help steer us through this process.

Going to the showroom was such a great experience! There were so many amazing choices of styles and colors for the cabinets. The countertop choices were abundant and the samples were large enough that we could get a good feel for the pattern (opposed to picking from a tiny 2" x 3" rectangle and guessing how it might look). The hardware choices were plentiful, and it was nice to have their guidance to help choose what would look best together to make the kitchen look cohesive and beautiful.

Our project became so much more than just refacing the cabinets and installing new doors. We had the soffit removed and extended the cabinets up to the ceiling, which not only added storage space, it made the kitchen feel bigger and look taller. We moved the fridge to the opposite wall to make it feel more open and give us one long run of counter and more counter space. The breakfast bar was moved back to provide even more room in the kitchen and add a bit more counter space. With getting rid of the '90s wood grain and going with Navajo White cabinets, we knew the old wood-grain window over the sink had to go. We had a new, white, energy efficient, easy-clean window installed. With shifting so many things around, we needed to add a few new cabinets to the mix, but it all went together flawlessly.

Our work crew was great and Andrew went above and beyond! They were always punctual, meticulous, and cleaned up after themselves every night before they left.  People always say you can tell a lot about a person by how they treat older people and pets - the work crew guys took a few minutes to visit with our pets every day, which was really sweet.

We're finally in love with our kitchen for the first time since we moved into our home in 2007. We honestly don't know why we waited so long, because it was such a great decision! It hasn't made me a better cook, but at least I'm burning food in style!

From start to finish this was easy. Everyone involve was professional, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Brad was awesome helping us decide on a cabinet design and color. Beth, at the office, was awesome helping us pick out counter tops, backsplash tile colors, and hardware for the cabinets and drawers. The install team was on time, professional, answered any questions we had and took the time to cover our floors to deter damage. They cleaned up every day after themselves and were extremely courteous of our home. We couldn't be more happy and proud of our kitchen remodel. They were awesome !!! If you are looking to remodel, consider this company. You wont be disappointed!!

Our experience with Wood Front Kitchens was AMAZING from start to finish!!!!!! Andrew was our installer. He was friendly and did a great job with our countertops. Before they finished up and left Brad made sure we were happy and that we had no other needs. Definitely will be hiring them for future remodels!!

I cannot say enough great things about the experiece I had with Wood Front Kitchens! From my design meeting with Dave, picking cabinet styles and hardware with Josie and Magen, my formal measuring with Brad, to the actual install with Mike, Andrew and Alex the entire project has been flawless. We had a few companies come and measure for countertops, with the thoughts of cabinet refacing as a possibility, David came and measured , and talked to us as if he was a long lost friend. He was straight forward with us about what it would cost to have all new cabinets. He actually said ours were very good cabinets, just the outdated oak. We choose to reface and go with Cambria Quartz. Beth at the office was so helpful with helping me coordinate the look of the cabinets, and counter top. The day came to start the work and they were on time, and respectful of our home. The dog was even ok with the workers! They cleaned up after themselves daily. It only took three days to transform our kitchen. David made the recommendation of "pull outs" for the pans, and larger items. They are fantastic! The custom built center Island is so great! We love the large pull outs! The Cambia Quartz installers and fabricators that Woodfront uses are super fantastic! I could not be more pleased with the counters. The one seam is so perfect it can not be seen. They matched the movement of the quartz perfectly! After having a bad install in the past with granite, I can attest that these guys know what they are doing! Andrew L. one of the cabinet installers is so alert to detail! He looked at every single cabinet to make sure that the doors were perfect. Things I didn't notice, he fixed! If you are considering redoing your kitchen do not hesitate to go with Woodfront. The money quotes for everything were as promised. No hidden fees, or asking for more money. I can not say that has happened for me in past remodels using others. Thank you David, Beth, Aaron, Andrew, and all of the crew at Woodfront! You all are amazing!

I set an appointment with Dave, he came to the house, I told him my ideas and he offered some great suggestions.

I had some new cabinets made to match the ones I had, so I could utilize a much needed wasted space above the washer and dryer, to house all the laundry supplies. Wood Front made a special cabinet space with two pull out soft close drawers, and they are absolutely perfect - exactly what I needed!

I also had them add an extra large cabinet right next to the laundry, so now I have plenty of added storage for all the kitchen appliance, thus not leaving them out to clutter my counter tops!

Brad came out and took precise measurements and the installer Andy, did a wonderful job, they are the most pleasant people!

These days you don't find such great customer service as this. I am truly happy with everyone at Wood Front Kitchens.

Their workmanship is superior, beautifully done, and the employees are the best, so helpful and friendly.
Above and beyond what I have ever experienced!

My old kitchen looked tired and outdated. It needed a “makeover”! My son had used Woodfront Kitchen and he was pleased with their work. I contacted Woodfront and made an appointment. Someone came out and looked at my kitchen. Then I met with the designer and she helped me come up with a plan. The results are striking and it certainly updated the whole aura of the entire space. Bright and modern ! New and fresh! Thank you to all those that played a part in this beautiful end result!

What a great experience we had. The ladies in the showroom were extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations. David and Brad were amazing to work with. Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly talked about. Andrew did an amazing job installing our new kitchen cabinets, he went above and beyond. There was a little hiccup installing the counter tops, but the folks from Maxwell Counters worked it out on the same day and were able to complete the job, well done! Nate did a fantastic job installing our new tile backsplash. From start to finish, Deb and I are extremely satisfied customers and would recommend Wood Front Kitchens and Prairie Home Alliance to anyone. Thanks for a job well done!

Andrew, the installer for our roll-out shelving, was prompt, friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend Wood Front Kitchens for your kitchen remodel needs.

We had a very small job to remove an old trash compactor, install a new waste basket/drawer, and match a new cabinet door to our 20 year old natural hickory cabinets. Brad came out for the initial consultation was an absolute pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable! The cabinet supplier struggled getting the door to match our existing cabinets. After the 2nd failed try, Brad came back out, took an existing door, and personally delivered our old door right to the cabinet shop in Arthur for matching. The 3rd try was a perfect match. Keep in mind, this was a very small job, and Brad came to the house twice while his carpenter Andrew (who was awesome!) was out three times. They never once showed frustration that we weren’t accepting the first 2 doors and from the beginning vowed to make it right no matter what. Friends, do yourself a favor and use Wood Front Kitchens for your next project!!! If I could give them 6 stars I would.

The 3 guys that they sent were all clean cut, polite and great workers. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Woodfront Kitchens did an awesome job from the moment I walked into their showroom! Everyone was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. They did an amazing job on cleaning up for the day before leaving. They have a great selection on cabinet doors and finishes and helped me on choosing flooring and counter and the tile backsplash. Woodfront handled a kitchen remodel project of ours in 2022. The sales rep was super knowledgable and helped me understand all of my options and the financial implications of all of them. They worked well coordinating the project with other contractors who were handling other aspects of the remodel. We added a few new cabinets and refaced the remainder of our cabinets and it turned out incredible. Looks like an entirely new kitchen. Highly recommended! Before and after pic attached.

Wood Front Kitchens recently completed a kitchen in our 1976 home. The previous owners remodeled the kitchen in the late 90's/early 2000's. Very country, dark with Corian countertops/sink. We really did not need to change any layout on the base cabinets but wanted to remove the counter to ceiling cabinets & appliance garages. I have known of Wood Front Kitchens/Prairie Home Alliance and the owner for years. They are people of integrity, and their product/quality is top notch.

Sales process is very quick & thorough, estimate on the spot & decision made. 1/3 deposit & off we went! David Russell knows his business.

Over the next several weeks, we met at WFK and selected our quartz countertop (beautiful, would never, ever do granite again), backsplash tile, handles/pulls etc. We were to go to Connor & Co for the faucet, RO dispenser & soap dispenser (that's a story by itself). The selections were simple at WFK.

The week before we were to start, we were informed that our project "dropped through the cracks" and had to push it back two months. I, as a contractor, know these things happen, and we got a new start date.

When they say the crew will be there at 7:15 am, Monday am ready to go, they were! Mike, the Lead Carpenter & Alex his assistant were some of the politest, kind professionals we have had work in our homes. To say they knew what they were doing would be an understatement. They were AWESOME! Over the top communication! The countertop company out of Bloomington who did the quartz was excellent! Then came the backsplash installation by Nate Russell. WOW! What a pro! Clint, our plumber from Leach Heating/Cooling & Plumbing out of Spring Bay was a total pro & pleasure as well! Everyone working here respected our home, cleaned up like a pro every day!

Pros: Amish made door/drawer fronts (awesome quality), new hardware, free SS sink, choose any color paint you want. We did a gray on the bottom & white cabinets on top from Sherwin-Williams. EXCELLENT people to do the installation. We had two custom made upper cabinets to replace the full height per the recommendation of Dave Russell. If you're not changing the lower/layout, it's less than a third in dollars of a full kitchen remodel in cost. The process takes about a week, and you have a functional kitchen about day 4. The selection at WFK is wide! We are so pleased with the finished product. The countertops are what make the kitchen. Minimal dust, and everyone working in our home was prompt, and appreciated our business.

Cons: If you want to change the layout, I am not sure how that works/if at all. The selection/pricing is a non-knower, as we were not given allowances for material selections based on the original estimate. This is our last kitchen we're planning to do, so we selected "what we wanted". For some people, an allowance for countertops, hardware, and tile that was included in the original estimate would be appreciated so there is no surprises. I would never recommend the plumbing supply house. Better communication about who is responsible for who, i.e.: plumber, tile setter, etc. Written explanation of how this flow could be better. A single point of contact, i.e.: a Project Manager, as I do in my world as a one throat to choke would be beneficial.

Summary: We LOVE our new kitchen. Bang for the buck, I couldn't think of a better system. Their products, installers, subcontractors etc. are all top notch. As a contractor myself, I "get" hiccups on a project. There were NO surprises in cost for us, as we knew were spending above the original estimate, but it was minimal. WFK actually comp'd the additional cost of our quartz countertop for the schedule blip. The project came in less than 10% more than the original estimate because we made higher cost selections. The question is: Would you hire WFK to do another kitchen? YES! 100%. I will be an awesome "unpaid salesperson" for their product & service.
