This Judge is the best for kids dealing with mental health services and awesome with school dropouts. She's the best motivator to help kids deal and liking school.

Honest fair firm probate judge. If you are going to need a judge she's the one you would want to oversee your case.

Stay away from this court at any cost as she and her fellow wrongdoer BAR card friends are there only for their personal enrichment at the expense of YOU!!!!

Judge Barkey ignores the wants/needs of the people she is supposedly protecting and appoints useless lawyers to take over estates so they can skim money from them while never even having contact with the person they have been appointed to serve. She also doesn’t know her cases and even when you catch a mistake no one will correct her because they are afraid of her wrath in other cases. Local attorneys all know the deal and they will tell you that you will lose if the opposing attorney is one of her pets. She doesn’t even require her pet attorneys to submit complete information because she “trusts them”. She is a fraud.

I believe it's possible she knows what's happening to the elderly after she appoints one of her "trusted colleagues." It's too hard not to notice. The Judge praised my neighbor for helping out yet again, all while I was trying to turn my neighbor in for abusing and neglecting her dependant. It took an extra year to get the woman removed to safety.
I've worked with two attorneys appointed by Judge Barkey and one flat out lied to this Judge saying she's done things for her client that she never did and the other admitted he'd lost half the clients livelihood on a gamble the family and client had already warned him not to make.

My mom's will went through probate. Judge Barkey refused to follow my mom's wishes, as outlined in the will. She doled out my my mom's assets, as she saw fit. She also added/hired an "independent council" attorney, which my mom's estate paid for. The guy did nothing to earn his money, was essentially useless. One of her cronies.... She's an unethical Judge and needs to retire.

Judge Barkey made a ruling that mom and I cannot have contact with one another ever again. I am not dead. My mom is not dead. There is not a justifiable reason on this paper to condone this decision. I have not beaten my mom, I have not disfigured my mom. I have not starved my mom in the 7 years that I cared for her. I did not deprive her of medical attention. I just do not understand. Why? My goodness this is a disheartening, coarse, calous, mean, cruel and unusual punishment for my mom and I. My mom has dementia and she is being dragged around like a piece of meat. I am being treated as a wooden doll. It's not right. It's not just.
