Totem Books

This is what used book stores were meant to be. Aromatic and pleasant environment, thoughtfully-curated books, ample nooks for reading, and a cafe'. Two thumbs way way up! Enjoyed the full experience, bought a whole stack of books.

Had to edit my review. We went in today and as soon as we walked in we were greeted. Told that if we need it. Any help? If we were looking for anything in particular we could ask was even shown around

My daughter got a coffee and a book and was very pleased over all a nice experience

Great atmosphere! They have karaoke every 2nd Friday of each month for Flint ArtWalk, which is a lot of fun!

Nice little place. Tons of books ,music and much more. Couches and chairs to chill. Little Cafe inside. This is what a bookstore should be

This is a great book store with lots of ambiance. It has a cafe inside that I didn't try but the food smelled good. The selection is really good and the prices very reasonable.

We had a great time here! Found a couple of neat old books for presents to people, got to chat with two really interesting authors, and I already want to go back! This bookstore is a gem: great selection, great vibes, and good people.

Loved Totem Books! Quaint little store jammed packed with lots of interesting finds! They have a wide variety of books, cd's, vinyl albums, candles & much more! Had delicious Chai Tea at the cafe, too!

Great place for new and used books, records and other cool stuff. Best specialty coffees. My new favorite place to visit

I have passed this place for many, many years and I am sadly now just getting an opportunity to go inside. This is such a nice little gem in the Flint area. They have a nice little selection of books on a number of different topics. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Many unique books which are hard to find other places. They have a little café area I didn't try but it would be nice to sit in for a moment, alone or with someone. I will definitely plan on coming back in the future.

Loved this place! Not only was it an awesome bookstore but the artwork on the outside of the building is amazing! I took lots of pics and videos because I'm obsessed! lol

What a beautiful and open space! I visited Flint for the weekend and my partner and I stopped in Totem to grab some books and records. They have such a wide range of books to select from and numerous super cozy sitting areas to read your good finds at. I could have spent all day here! They also sell cool trinkets and other soothing products like incense, crystals, and sage!

It has the cozy book store feel. Tons of old and weird books, you could spend all day in there and always find something new and interesting

Totem Books was recommended by a friend and I was not let down. This place was incredible. I was a huge fan of the collection. The staff was awesome and helpful. It was great to see so many people in a book store! There were several people enjoying the deli while I was there. I did not try any of the food or drinks but I will be back to so. Good job Totem Books! I will be back.
