We have enjoyed a mother daughter trip for the past 5 years. Hotel Pemaquid is a step back in time. The owners have done an amazing job at preserving the rich history. We love upstairs rooms with a shared bath. The price is right and they are cozy and clean. We bring croissants and jam to enjoy tea time on the
sun porch each morning. Croquet games on the front lawn in the afternoon and a stones throw to the most beautiful lighthouse in New England. It's the best!

The hotel has recently changed hands and although change can be a good thing sometimes it just isn't. The new owner is not as personable nor as caring as Judy and Charlie. The room we reserved over a year ago was devoid of antiques and any sort of personality such as artwork. Only the towels were changed on a daily basis. The floor wasn't vacuumed at all. On going construction made for a loud not relaxing visit and well water issues caused for the use of bottled water which we had to go to the dark and mostly unmanned lobby to attain. The bathroom is a handicap persons nightmare! The bed, at a height of 31" floor to mattress, made getting in and out rather a struggle. The grounds are dark and poorly lit. I have been a visitor to the hotel since the 1960's and this is definitely my last visit.

Stay here! You will love it!! Stay in the main house; it's lovely, charming, cozy, and everything is covered in a floral print. Again-- you will love it. The parlors and front porches are the perfect spot for reading a book and listening to the waves crash. The proximity to the lighthouse is unbeatable! Overall-- great bargain, lovely memorable spot, and beautiful part of Maine.

Lovely, charming rustic sort of place. A lot of period furniture and warm hospitality. There's no restaurant but both the Bradley Inn and the Seagull Cafe nearby are excellent and very reasonably priced. There's plenty of local attractions nearby too - within walking distance are the lighthouse, its associated park, and the nearby art galleries. A short drive will get you to a lot of excellent local seafood places, in many cases serving freshly-caught lobster and other seafood.

Do make sure to chat with the innkeeper - the guy I talked to had a real wealth of knowledge, not just about local attractions and restaurants but about history.

Really nice place, quite great place to recharge yourself. Quite, alot of great views just a short walk away and the lighthouse is 30 seconds away.
I stayed in the rooms away from hotel. Rooms were nice, spacious and quite.
No wifi in those cabins but ots exactly what I wanted.

We began and ended our 2 week Maine vacation at Hotel Pemaquid and both visits could not have been better. This is a lovely, friendly place that is only steps from one of the most outstanding lighthouses and coastal views. To be perfectly honest this was our fourth stay at the Pemaquid over a period of several years. We will be back!
Thanks again,
Priscilla and Saxton Garrison

Step back in time when you visit this charming coastal hotel, a short walk from the famous Pemaquid Point Lighthouse.
Rooms are immaculately kept with lovely antiques and the price is another thing to enjoy.

We stay at a cottage nearby but the hotel is very picturesque. Location is perfect, near the Pemaquid Lighthouse and located on a finger off the coast. Lovely for walks, beautiful ocean views. Seagull Shop is near, lots of fun stuff with the best breakfasts!!

Very nice hotel! Very much enjoyed our stay in the Curtis Suite. We read some prior bad reviews which just is not the case. The staff were friendly and made our stay comfortable as well as enjoyable. Highly recommend!!

Historic period hotel just 1 min walk from the lighthouse, interior has lots of antique period furniture, no dining room but the Bradley Inn is 1 min walk and has a great resterant, also easy walk to the seagull for breakfast overlooking the ocean.

Nice little hotel. Stayed here from July 13th - 16th 2022. Room was clean and location was great, in a nice quiet little area adjacent to the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse.

This is by far the best lodging to book if you want to stay near the Maine coast.

This is a hidden gem. The tradition of Old Maine comes through in the details of this place. It's a little odd that you have to book over the phone and send them a check to reserve your room, but it's worth the hassle.

Nice classic New England Hotel. Clean and a little off the beaten path but great location. With light house and restaurants near by.
