Emmet County Road Commission

Our road in front of our summer home was re-done and there was allot of asphalt left behind on our front lawn, that left it unable for us to mow. One call to Emmet County Road Commission and they came out and hand picked up the debris for us within a couple days. Thank you Emmet County for your help and quick response.

Today was the third time I have had to avoid a major collision with a plow running a stop sign at Cedar Valley and Greenwood. I've called the county twice to inform them and clearly nothing is being done. There is no view obstruction, and today was a clear sunny day. The drivers don't even look to see if a vehicle is coming, they just run the sign and keep on going (no plow down, nothing even to clear). PLEASE do something about this to keep my family safe.

It did not snow today. Blue skies, not a single cloud in sight. And yet the Emmet County Road Commission found it necessary to come flying down Paradise Trail and fill in the ends of driveways that folks, including myself, had worked hard to clear. I paid a guy fifty dollars on this Saturday past to take out the ice hump the RC created at the end of my driveway and these hotdog drivers are already trying to rebuild it. If you guys are just trying to log hours, maybe some of y'all need to be laid off.

Pretty pathetic that we pay taxes for plowing!!! And I had to call in today because it's so bad on our roads!! There's no reason you can't come through Maxwell rd. We are more then just farmers out here, we have actual jobs that requires us to leave our yards!
Come on Emmett county! Like the bare road that's full of potholes the size of a child's swimming pool isn't enough B.S.!!!!

Plow went off the road and hit my mailbox, you could see the tire tracks in the mud and they said the snow pushed it and won't replace it. Tore up the neighbors yard took out 6 other mailboxes and only plowed one side of the street. Absolutely incompetent.
