This is the best convenience store in the history of convenience stores. I make this statement based on 4 criteria. 1) Their beer and wine selection is the best. Better than nearby grocery stores. 2) Their meat selection, while limited is exactly what you want. They have Angus beef and they smoke their own brisket. 3) The food they make is fantastic. They have weekly specials that are creative and delicious. 4) Their service is top tier When you enter you are greeted with happy people who like what they are doing .

I am biased because my my mom lives right next door - but this place is a gem. Very good food, wine/drink selection, other miscellaneous items. Staff is friendly. Almost everything I've ordered has been 10/10. If you live close by, you are doing yourself a disservice by not trying it out.

This place consistently delivers on service and quality. We frequent here weekly and it never fails - hot food, exactly as ordered, made in house with care, within 15 minutes, and greeted with friendly service every single time. Doesn’t matter what we order, it’s all good. Weekly specials, great hot and cold to-go items, and unexpected wine and beer selection. Love this place.

Wonderful neighborhood shop with delicious pizza, burgers, and sandwiches (including unique, fun weekly specials that my family really enjoys). There’s a fantastic meat counter, and a wide selection of wine and beer, and also a small selection of groceries with most staples. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I love that we have such a great spot right here in our little town.

Food Stop has saved the day for this Mom many times. Not only a convenience store with just about anything you may have forgotten, but ALSO incredible food to go! The chef is always coming up with great specials, and our family loves the meat and deli case! Pizza is a hit every time. Oh and if you need a wine recommendation, The owners got your back!

We moved to this town more than 20 years ago. Food Stop has been a staple in our lives for pizza after games, supporting our teams, pizza for bday parties and wine/beer for the adults. They support our community while providing great food. Food Stop is more than a local pizza joint…I do love the pizza, sandwiches and grocery staples.

We've lived in a few small towns in Maine. Without fail, each town ends up having the best convenience store pizza. This is it, simple pie with perfectly seasoned sauce and the right amount of toppings. The whole menu is great to be honest! You will be paying a little more per grocery item, as is the usual case with a small convenience store, but the selection is always prime! Glad to have this place in our neighborhood.

Cumberland Foodstop is a gem in our community. I have been coming here for 40 years for the very best pizza, sandwiches ( my fave is the Caprese Panini with an amazing balsamic glaze!), salads & sides ( I LOVE their fries!!), great breakfast sandwiches and delicious baked goods too!
They have a huge variety of convenience & grocery items, some fresh produce, amazing fresh meats and seafood and a wine selection that rivals any specialty shop I've visited around the Country!
Mark and his crew are knowledgeable and courteous, be sure to stop in and see all they have to offer!

I ordered a Poutine add grilled chicken and it was By far the best I have eaten anywhere. I highly recommend trying it!! I would have added a picture but I was too busy eating it was gone before I knew it!! Everyone was very friendly!!! And I will definitely be coming back the next rainy day to get another.

First trip to Food Stop. I ordered the Ranger Burger without lettuce, sweet pickles, and tomatos because those belong on a cold cut! This burger was top notch. The interaction from the staff was very friendly. They even had the smoker going outside. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had on a whim.

Willingly made four pizzas (two pepperoni, one veggie, one cheese) for my three year old's birthday party with less than two hours notice. One kid had this to say, "This pizza is deeeeeeelicious!!"

Artisan lunch sandwiches like the Brisket with BBQ and Rosemary French fries on the side are incredible. Great burgers and pizzas too.

A hidden gem that is not so hidden to the residents of Cumberland. Friendly service and a dedication to giving the areas youth responsibility and opportunity is a plus. You can tell that all who work there are like a big family. Mark, the owner is a great guy who is friendly and knows his wine and his meat. The take out is great and creative. Call ahead as it almost always busy. It may not always be fast but it is always welcoming and they treat their customers right. It's become a staple in our lives and I'm glad for that.

If you haven't tried the butcher's meats from Food Stop, you're seriously missing out! We grabbed a steak in between grocery runs last week. Best. Steak. Ever. Restaurant quality at a bargain price! Highly recommended. Yum!
