Magically beautiful, there's so much to see and enjoy. It's very gorgeous being there in person and capturing the waves hitting the rock formations. Super relaxing just sitting there watching the waves while the sun is setting. Perfect place for couples to enjoy a romantic evening with mother nature. Nothing can beat the true beauty of nature. The light house itself is well maintained and great to see a clearer view of the ocean shore. Definitely a must visit. Great for friends and families

Such a wonderful, scenic lighthouse to visit. It was a bit fogged in, but it cleared enough to spot eider ducks and cormorants diving for sea critters in the rough surf below the light. The museum is staffed by some very knowledgable volunteers that have all sorts of historical stories of the light and surrounding areas. We were there in early October which gave us the opportunity to have a volunteer on site to allow us to climb the tower to the top. One of the few lighthouses in Maine that allow you to climb up to the top. Well worth the trip to see.

Gorgeous view! We were there in late Autumn, parking space was limited, but if you dine in the adjacent Sea Gull restaurant there were plenty.

This lighthouse was so neat! Make sure you take the time to walk down the hill and onto the rocks. The pics will be stunning! It’s so peaceful and the colors are amazing!

It's a bit of a drive away but it is beautiful. There is not much to do and it's small but if you go knowing this and don't expect much more you will be happy with the scenery.

Stopped here on a drive from Portland to Acadia. Definitely worth the small detour! You can walk down the rocks and take in the views. There are bathrooms, a nice picnic area, and a small museum. One of the coolest lighthouses we saw while visiting Maine!

It was my first time visiting Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol, Maine.
The sun was out🌞
People were out.
As well as I.
Taking photos of all of the beauty that surrounds this Park.
I have an artificial knee that was installed 1 year ago, and I found it to be a relatively easy hike across the rock formation that has eroded over time.
The lighthouse was open for all who wanted to climb the 33 stairs and climb up a 7 rung ladder at the top of the twisted spiral staircase.
The fee is a donation of one dollar or more.
The staff was very friendly.
The restroom facities were pretty clean, being that it was Sunday afternoon.
The scenery is one that the whole entire family would enjoy visiting this pristene lighthouse.
I noticed 3 young children climbing up and down the rocky terrain.
There is handicap ♿ parking at the park.

I will definitely come back soon and tell my friends about this experience.

Happy Vacation!

$4 per adult to enter the parking area and the grounds. It's a large parking lot likely easy for RV or bus. It is easy to get photos of the lighthouse from all angles.
There are a good amount of picnic tables under tree shade with a view of the ocean and the sound of waves hitting the rocks.
It's easy to walk out onto the rocks leading to the water. Use caution stand back from the water and no swimming here.
There is a permanent men's and women's bathroom here. The bathrooms are not handicapped accessible.

Town must own property.. town charges four dollars per person to get in - no matter how you get there- on foot bicycle, car, etc… Property is well kept and dogs are welcome. To gain entry into the lighthouse there is a one dollar donation per person. All those dollars are used for the upkeep of the lighthouse I was told by the greeter. (The town keeps their four dollar entry fee) lighthouse is small and only a few people go up at a time. You have to wait for them to come back down before the next group goes up - plan accordingly- especially in the tourist season.

It's a must see place! The man in the light house is so knowledgeable about the area and history, it would be fun to listen to him all day!! The cliffs behind the light house is where I first seen the Atlantic Ocean. I recommend that to everyone! The views are stunning from every direction and you can climb up to the top of the light house if you're brave enough! Their gift shop is full of really cool things and worth going into. There are several restrooms, food, and ice cream right on the point. Keep ahold of your ticket and you can come and go all day long. The people that work there are really nice and knowledgeable people! It's a 1,700 mile one way trip for us and we ALWAYS go to this light house!

The Pemaquid Point Lighthouse park was a beautiful stop on our trip. It was $4 to access the park and another $1 to go up to the top of the lighthouse, which is not handicap accessible. There were an abundance of picturesque views.

Just $4 per person. That's fine cuz it goes to upkeep the grounds. Happy to pay. Great little lighthouse that is still in operation! Teeny space in the actual lighthouse part. Grand views. Great park. Restaurant next door with views

There is an entrance fee to this lighthouse. There is plenty of parking, a small museum, and you can climb the tower to the light.
The surrounding grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Be careful climbing down the rocks as they get extremely slick by the water.

I randomly decided to visit this lighthouse while passing through Maine. I knew nothing about it until I arrived.

It is off the beaten path, down a windy road dotted with a few antique shops here and there. I went on a rainy Monday at noon in August, and it was super packed. Very, very busy. I later learned that this lighthouse is on the Maine state quarter. The geology of the coast was impressive, with large metamorphic folds and such. You can walk on these rocks. There was a gift shop and restaurant which was totally full of people. There were picnic tables around the area to eat your own lunch as well. All of the people were polite and respectful. There was a long line to go into the lighthouse tower, so I didn't get to see inside. A busy but awesome place to visit.

We enjoyed our trip to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse!! The view from the top was beautiful. We only had a ten minute wait before we were able to climb the lighthouse. The gentleman in the museum was knowledgeable and engaging, we enjoyed our conversation with him.

Pemaquid lighthouse holds very special place in our hearts, my husband and I got married here 11 years ago. People were most accommodating and we had a wonderful, simple ceremony. Very nice things was the fact that they have inside room as well in case the weather didn't cooperate. We love to return here every year for our anniversary and our children love to explore the small rocky beach and tide pools. There is place for picnic , just watch for poison ivy.

My most favorite lighthouse to date. Beautiful scenery. Able to walk the rocks, sit in shaded areas and enjoy the views. But the best part is you can actually go up to the top of the lighthouse. Great museum, super friendly staff. Definitely a must see!

We enjoy visiting this Maine gem. One of our favorite lighthouses. Lots of parking available. A few picnic tables and benches offering beautiful ocean views. Part of the buildings around this lighthouse sustained significant damage from severe storms in December 2023 and January 2024. There is a small fee at the entrance. Bathrooms are available onsite. Wicked cool coastal rock formations here. Check it out!
