Village Donut Shop & Bakery

We just stopped in on while driving from Portland to Sunday River and had the most lovely experience! This shop has such an awesome community vibe, the folks behind the counter were so lovely to speak with, and the donuts are awesome!! This place is a total gem and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. It feels like the type of place that brings a community together and takes care of its own. Huge fan.

We stopped here on a whim while in town for the holidays, and to say we were impressed would be an understatement.

The donuts are fresh and delicious - the apple fritter was especially tasty. But the breakfast sandwich stole the show; plenty of options to choose from, and all of them are outstanding.

The kind and courteous staff here know how to make a couple out-of-towners feel right at home.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. The place smells amazing as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere makes you want to stay. The service is fantastic and they really make you feel valued. And still, the pastries are the best part!!! The cheese Danish didn't even make it to the photoshoot 😅 The donuts are beautifully risen and taste fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

Their lemon scones & blueberry pancake doughnuts are AMAZING!!! Everything is so fresh, you can taste the love in every bite!!
A must try, but go early!

Can't say enough about how excellent this place is. The owners and staff are extremely kind. The food is amazing! Yes the donuts are great - I recommend a marble cake donut. But the pastries and breakfast sandwiches are also excellent. And prices are so reasonable.

I barely caught the operating business hours on a holiday, but everything inside tastes great. The coffee is surprisingly good from the carafe.
I inhaled 3 donuts before exiting the establishment. The buttercream is perfectly decadent without its sweetness being the main attraction.

Donuts and pastries are so fresh and moist. Never dry. I love the spinach feta puff pastry. Great people that work there too! Thank you for holding my plain donuts ! Thank you Beth

Great local shop with fair prices.The staff is always friendly and energetic. The donuts are always good with unique and classic flavors, especially the blueberry pancakes donut.

My coffee buddies and I Go there about every morning They are open at 5 o'clock every morning. I hardly recommend This place One of the things I like the most is the happy smiles Everyone gets in the morning And you can preorder So if you're in a hurry They will be ready and waiting for you.

Super impressed. Great customer service behind the counter. Our only complaint is there's no more donuts after 10/11am. You definitely need to call ahead to reserve.

Have driven past Village Donut Shop for some time but finally stopped in and glad I did. Fresh baked donuts are getting hart to find plus scones, muffins and some savory stuffed croissants. This place is a gem- you have to try it! Nice staff too!

Yummy! Pastries, donuts, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Several tables if you can't wait until you get home. Usually sold out before their daily closure at noon!

I don't even want to tell you how good the raspberry bismarck was, save them all for me. So many options of donuts and pastries on display, and lots of coffee flavors too. It's very cute inside and the woman working was a sweetheart. Absolutely worth a try, especially if it's on your route!
