Schuler Books Okemos

This book store is nicely designed and located in the Meridian Mall.

It sells candles, stuffed animals, msu merchandise, mugs, stationary, (dairies, notebooks, pens, etc.) used and new books for children, teens, and adults.

There is a cafe in the store whom when busy a lot of people are studying or working there.

The workers are extremely awesome, they help whenever they can and even pays a few cents when you don't have enough!

The Parking lot is a little rough but is still acceptable. Usually the the ones in the front, a.k.a. the closer Parking spaces are taken. The design is slightly slanted and it takes longer to walk to the entering.

There is one exit and enter located outside, and about two doors connected to the mall.

Overall, this place is a nice place to enjoy some spare time

Love this bookstore. They also have a used book section. The cafe has a nice atmosphere.

They have a good selection and even some books made for role playing

Huge store with new things at every turn of the head. Display tables are themed and inviting. There are Michigan-made products for sale that would be ideal gifts. Someone put their heart into this place!
(Plan to go when there is not a time constraint, as there is a wide selection)

Schuler books has a great selection of just about every genre there is in book form. Also, if they don't have the book that you are looking for, they will be more than happy to look it up and order it for you. It sure saves me a lot of time. We are slowly replacing our paperback library with hardcovers and Schuler books is helping to keep it affordable.

I love Schuler Books. I always find myself popping in and perusing. The staff is always friendly and loves to give recommendations.

Staff was very helpful finding specific books friendly and fast check out for all the people that were there we just missed story time

Love the selection of weird home goods along with the books. I could walk around and stare at it all for hours— the layout has always been perfect, the staff have been kind and knowledgeable, and they have helped my kid be able to purchase older books she can’t get in elsewhere — these folks will special order anything! I love that they will give you store credit for your used books, too.

Such a wonderful place to be and to spend time in. Bought great books, great games, had help finding books I didn't know I needed until I saw them!

Great book store. Can’t stand the mall security they are nasty people but the book store is really good. Normally I’m able to get whatever I need and if they don’t have it, they always seem to pull through with getting what I want.

I can't imagine there's a better book store. Amazing selection. Games, calendars, magazines, even Lego sets. There's also a cafe for coffee or a snack.

There are a lot of amazing niche indie bookstores in this town, but Schuler remains the gold standard for if you want to just go wander the stacks for an hour or more.

One of the few remaining great book stores in the area. If they don't have and it can be ordered they will get it for you. I have gone here for a long years.

I expected it to be more expensive than what it was.

I really like how they have their books organized by what they are science fiction, history , fiction etc. I walked in, looked up and saw the section I expected my book to be in section.

My biggest problem was I found more than one book I wanted but because they were so reasonably priced I got all three.

I also like that there are different stations, check out places so if you need help there's always somebody right there.

Very nice new and used bookstore. I went to look at the used book section and it is very nicely set up. Organized by genre and in alphabetical order. There are also fun little items to browse that will certainly catch your eye.

Wonderful store...lots of books, and they will order anything you can't find, knowledgable friendly staff, a wonderful cafe and lots of fun Fair Trade items, gift items and good quality toys like Playmobile. I can spend hours there!

Pre ordered a book and got one freshly printed, very excited to read. They had very nice staff and such a great selection.

They seem to have a good, reasonably priced selection of new and used books. They have plenty of checkouts available and staff are friendly. If you prefer to shop at smaller book sellers over B&N or other large sellers this is a great choice. I would recommend for the used book selection!

Their displaya are so inviting. Love the used book section. The cafe fireplace setting is a great place to enjoy the books you just bought, along with a cup of coffee.

Lovely bookstore and café. Friendly staff and yummy cookies. And of course books! ... whatever book you wish for it's right there.
