Dr. Dear is a great doctor. She is kind, patient and caring. She might not have expertease in everything, but she lets you know, and refers you to a doctor that can care for you the best.

I don’t know why other reviewers gave 1 star when they were told that something was beyond her expertease. I would rather have a doctor tell we when they can’t care for me in a speciality way, than them trying to wing it, just so they look good. A doctor who can admit you need a specialist in my opinion is far better than a doctor who tries and guess how to treat you.

I havent had any terrible health issues, but Dr Dear and her staff have been amazing with their scheduling and helping me with my personal needs. Have never waited more than 5-10 mins in the waiting room, and most times i dont even get to my seat before they call me in.

Dr. Dear cared for my parents and provided absolutely terrible and incompetent care. My mother suffered from severe spinal stenosis with classic symptoms for several months. Dr. Dear stated that back pain is beyond the scope of practice for a family medicine physician and "should be seen by urgent care and since I have more than 3 thousand clinic patients I can't deal with everything" per her discussion with my father. I work as an electrophysiologist/cardiologist and asked my partner to see my mother. He was able to determine the issue within one clinic visit and remained astounded at the lack of care or compassion that had been provided. I hardly believe that back pain is in the scope of practice for a heart doctor but classic symptoms of common disorders should be the epitome of what a family medicine doctor deals with. I also know that back pain is an extremely common disorder and primary care doctors should be well versed in its evaluation as the majority are musculoskeletal in origin and do not require further testing. If a doctor is unsure of what the problem is then a patient should be referred to a specialist for further evaluation. This would be very reasonable as no individual can be expected to know everything. Dr. Dear told my father that she does not have time to refer to specialists due to her high patient load and that the best avenue to see a specialist is via the ER or urgent care. Really?? A patient is best served seeing a physician who does not have any medical records and does not know your history?? ER visits also carry an extreme personal financial cost to the patient and forcing this higher cost is unreasonable. Wouldn't it make more sense to see less patients even if it meant making slightly less money so that appropriate referrals can be given?? Practicing blind medicine without records makes it far more difficult to identify significant changes/findings relative to seeing a patient that you have seen on several different occasions. My mother was walking normally less than 12 months ago and was unable to walk more than 25 feet last week. This should prompt a referral for a second opinion! Dr. Dear told my father taht this was my mother's fault and "shame on her" for letting it go this far as she should have gone to the ER. I find this unbelievable. My parents are not people with any medical knowledge and my mother has been going to Dr. Dear every 3 months in the hopes of getting help that was never delivered. They had faith that their doctor would provide the best care they could possible give and I really don't believe that this happened. It saddens me that this is the level of health care that is currently being provided in my prior hometown to my friends and family. Think twice before seeing this physician.

Very unprofessional just stares at her computer does not listen to what your saying at all.This doctor assumes whatever she wants also has given my wife a medication she should have known better than to. she started having kidney failure from it.Also accused my wife of having a drug addiction because she takes ocxycodone (she takes for fibromyalgia)probably takes 3-4 pills a month and that is a high estimate.

I would not wish her services on my worst enemy. Her PA Elizabeth Wright is wonderful and made up for her terrible attitude. You would think after years of experience you would listen and show care towards your patients, I guess not??
